3D side by side HMV's

Great news… I figured out how to use proton to run BOTH programs I use. One for the resolution/fps upscale and the 3D conversions. I’ll soon be starting up on the conversions. I have a Mega account I will be making available once I get the library really going.

I’ve also make instruction manuals for how to get them working with Proton through Steam. None of it requires knowing coding or commands. It’s all GUI based instructions.

Once I finish the instruction manuals and have tested all the functions I’ll be making a separate post with links to those instructions. I’ll also post the link to that post here.

I’m also going to test a few different script players using Proton to find out which ones work with Steam Deck. The reason this is important is because Valve is going to be releasing more than just the Steam Deck in the future. Within the next year or two you’ll be able to buy PC’s that come loaded with SteamOS from the shelf. Linux is going to be more mainstream and common. And I hope my guides help not only users but those making the software. Often times it just requires using proton and nothing complicated.

I’ll make a separate post tomorrow for software creators on how to use Proton to make your stuff work on Linux. You don’t have to completely start from scratch. It’s just minor tweaking.

I’ll post one video that’s upscaled in resolution and FPS and it’s 3D conversion later today so you can see what can been done just using something as simple as the Steam Deck.
