This is for sensitive skin, which doesnt have Propylene Glyco. I know the gun oil h20 version is really good, but im allergic to it.
its still good lube just slightly less slick. I suggest trying K-lube off amazon.
For me, it is the best. It lasts long, is not too goopy, and cleans up easily. Oh, and no fragrance.
iono if iwant to buy more of those powder lube. I bought j lube powder lube last year and only used it once, wasnt feeling it. When I made it thick, it was too slippery to have any sensation at all and when i made it thin, it lasted about 1 min top before i have to apply it again..
nice imma buy it
Hi, sensitive skin person here who gets contact dermatitis at the drop of a hat washed in detergent using perfumes…
Not all powder lubes are the same. J-Lube has sucrose in it, sugar - it’s supposed to help in mixing, but it kills the shelf life. K-Lube is another but also has preservatives that can trigger skin allergies.
X-Lube is a more refined powder and does not have the additives. I’ve found it to take a couple tries to get consistency just right. I was making a batch at full strength and “decanting” into smaller bottles only 2/3 - 3/4 full and topping off with water.
Gets a great consistency - but pretty much every water based lube out there will dry out faster than you want. These lubes are designed for sex - presuming the orifice either has some lubrication properties, or is a closed environment where air isn’t being constantly introduced.
To handle some of the drying out, I’ve been experimenting with adding a commercial lube to my X-Lube mix, and both Swiss Navy and Gun Oil (regular) seem to add the most longevity by virtue of one of the “greasy” ingredients. I’ve not had issues with either, but I can imagine the extra durability comes at a risk for other sensitive folks.
Sutil is a more expensive lube, but uses a different formulation and came highly recommended. SportLube has similar slickness, but is also more $$$. Given how much lube frequent use of a stroker device chows through, I’ve committed to my mad scientist home brew.
good advice.
