Quick and Dirty idea: We already have polls. We could have one in each post with just the one option. Would have to change the rules a bit about the number of possible charges, but that wouldn’t require any changes to the site whatsoever.

Would be very easy to do and to implement.
Downside would be: People may click on it, just because they can ^^ So they don’t really do that because they want to, just because they can.

The whole community aspect of this was something I rather enjoyed. If you ever do anything like this event again, I would be happy to see you expand even further on that (like with the team battle event in March). But I’m not sure about whether this is a general sentiment.

Same. We definitely want to include the whole community in these events. We don’t (and we can’t) force anything, it’s just more like a “nice additional feature”. The Signal Amplify didn’t have that much of an impact and just gave a small bonus in round 3. We want to make this feature a nice gimmick, that’s fun, but doesn’t impact the whole outcome too much.

We got something planed for the next event, but it probably needs some more tweaking. We will see what we can make work and consider the polls. Maybe there is something we can do with using them.

That is very valuable feedback, thank you! When we created the games and mutators, we weren’t sure how you guys will take it. Either you were open for that and liked the extra challenge, or you would hate it, because it’s too restrictive.

Our goal was exactly what you described. We wanted to create interesting games, with a good theme. Nothing too complicated theme wise, but make it more challenging with the mutators. To give you something where you are like “Let me see if I can find something like this. Maybe I try to find a video with all mutators even.” I am glad this system worked so well.

I skipped this event mainly because I didn’t fully understand the content of the event startup post especially the purpose of the mutators. Later on when it became clearer I found it too restrictive and I didn’t find any videos matching the mutators that I actually wanted to script. It felt like it became a video search challenge instead of me scripting videos that I like.

Anyways, I’m glad so many found the event fun and that it was a success. Clearly you went above and beyond and put a lot of effort into making this happen. Kudos to all working behind the scene!

This event was definitely a bit more challenging, not only from the games and mutators, but also from the whole “roleplaying” aspect we went for ^^
Script Game was an exception for the events, where we went full roleplay. For that, we also created an easier to read version, to make everything more accessible and easier to understand.
Future events won’t have that level of roleplay like Script Game has. It was a special event, something we went all in. Special events like this we make maybe once a year.

Understandable and something we had in mind for the mutators. We tried to find some challenging mutators, like the blonde mutator for the goth game. But also some easier ones, that occur in many videos. Still, it’s understandable it can feel too restrictive and not everybody wants or can find fitting videos for the game + mutator.

Each of the four Players must:

1. Create one final script — no Game restrictions, no Mutators, you can script whatever you want. Link your final script in this thread.
2. Defend it — explain why this specific script proves you deserve the Crown.
3. Justify your choice to both the Jury and the community.
4. Answer the core questions:

• Why this script?
• Why now?
• Why you?

Your creativity is the message.
Your explanation is the weapon.

How to win

The Jury will evaluate both parts of your ENDGAME submission:

• Your final script
• Your reasoning and defense of it

Your ENDGAME script will be treated like a normal entry and added to your total final score.
This final script can push you to the top, secure your current standing, or crash your score completely — the impact is entirely in your hands.

The finalist with the highest total score will win Script Game.

The winner will receive:

A special forum title, marking your victory for everyone to see.

The winner receives ALL unlocked prizes.

The winner may choose to gift prizes to other Players, but please note:

• Prizes can only be gifted to Players who actively participated in Script Game.
• No gifting to non-Players.
• The winner may gift prizes to up to 5 other Players.
• The winner must publicly announce whether they:
  • want to keep all prizes for themselves, or
  • want to gift some of them.

THE-CYCLE has taken us into the grinder of The Twist - no shouting helped. I tried to resist, then I thought I had found a way to use its power to my advantage. And it worked - until it swallowed me whole. And once it was over, it spat me out here. Having us vowing for its approval. Always watching, observing, recording. Listening to the signals, making us play by its rules… I’ve seen it eliminate one player after the other. Only the universe knows what it will do next. And it could happen to any of us.
