@TwistedPythonVR Thank you so much for your entry to the event! As @THE-CYCLE already said, we will adapt the rules, since you are offering multiple unique scripts. To acknowledge and respect your effort, and potential future Players, who will do a similar approach, we make an adaption:
Additional Clarification: Multiple Scripts per Video
From now on, Multiple Scripts for the same video will be scored as separate entries, if they are significantly different. As a rule of thumb, this means that the actions’ timings have been consistently re-scripted, because:
- you scripted a different person/body part/actions,
- you scripted new (beat) patterns
When multiple scripts will count as multiple entries:
- If the scripts are significantly different from each other and represent truly different versions, which can be:
- A PMV, where you offer a beat based script and an action based script → two scripts → two entries
- A gangbang video, where you create multiple scripts for each participant in the video. For example, you create 5 different scripts for 5 different participants. The scripts are completely different from each other → each script counts as one entry and will get rated individually.
- Please don’t script a 20 men gangbang video and make 20 scripts of it. This would be too much and we couldn’t count them as 20 entries. We have to draw a line somewhere. Numbers have to be reasonable.
- Threesome videos, where you offer one script for each of the men.
When multiple scripts will not count as separate entries:
- Small variations, such as changing only the average speed (e.g., one at 400, one at 500, one at 800 for Handy 2 Pro overclock) → this will only count as one entry.
- Scripts that are nearly identical, with only minor adjustments (e.g., one version with slightly higher stroke ranges and another with slightly lower ones).
- Scripts that are converted to use them for other devices, such as e-stim etc.
Why we are allowing this:
- To recognize effort: Writing multiple scripts for one video takes the same amount of time and work as creating entirely new ones. We want to acknowledge that.
- Because events are about the scripts themselves: Videos are the base, but it’s the scripts that bring them to life. Multiple creative approaches to the same video deserve to be showcased.
- To encourage creativity: Especially with PMVs, where one script might focus on beat patterns and another on action sequences, different approaches let you experiment and show your style.
Of course, we’d still love to see a wide variety of videos in the event. But if you put in the extra time and creativity to produce more than one distinct script for the same video, we want to make sure that effort is rewarded.
Just to be clear: Submitting multiple entries does not give an advantage over someone submitting only one. Since we use an average score system, it all balances out. Multiple entries are about creativity and effort, not gaining extra chances.
TL;DR:
Multiple scripts for the same video can now count as separate entries — but only if they’re significantly different versions. Small tweaks (like just changing speed or stroke range) will still count as one entry.
