Is EDI able to work with the new Handy 2 or no?
Yeah, it works, but the Handy guys implemented a way to constantly renegotiate the buffer with the device, which causes micro-stutters. Eventually, when my Handy 2 arrives, Iâll try to fix itâif itâs even fixable.
Hello guys iam planning to get some bluetooth app controlled device from Aliexpress for this script spesifically will it work with bluetooth devices Iâll be more than happy if you were to answer it
Like thehandyAPI you use, do you plan to add the vacuglide 2.0 api too?
is there anyway to invert scripts? Iâm using a hands free setup.
so THATS what was causing the issue ![]()
really hope its fixable, edi integration is half of the reason i even bought the h2p T-T
edit:
also would you mind if I shared this document with the handy devs? they donât always take stuff like this into account but I think itâd be worth a shot to at least try and get some insight on how theyâre gonna handle future updates
I already did it a few months ago. My Handy 2 Pro will arrive in a few weeks, so once I have it, Iâll revisit this topic with the device in hand and see if I can find a better solution. But Iâll probably have to innovate and come up with a new way to manage the device buffer that works well for games, given the limitations of the API.
Godspeed and good luck, I believe ![]()
i keep having issues with using edi on linux⌠i am tempted to try and learn some .net to try and port or build edi with .net on linux as a target. same with MFP if i can get the source. XD
Hi,
Is there an API endpoint to get the status of Play/Pause?
Iâm trying to integrate with the EOM and hacking it but it would be ideal if there would be a endpoint to grab it like Get /Edi/Status or something
What is EOM?
Currently, there is no method to do that, since all control would be handled directly by the game, and EDI does not have its own input.
EOM is from MausTec Edge-o-Matic 3000 â Maus-Tec. I want to use it to get status pause/play. Essentially getStatus as a way to have more control over whether or not to play scripts. Not urgent but It would be very helpful!
I have it partially working if I assume its play by default but wonât work if I manually play/pause via GUI as the state would have changed.
@dimnogro
Hello dimnogro. I always use your application. Thank you for the convenient app.
I have a question: When I want to announce a new integration, is it okay to redistribute the Edi.exe file?
If youâre going to do it within the community, Iâd say itâs no longer necessary. If itâs outside the community, then yes â the latest version of E lets you select the folder and play using a single central executable.
I havenât seen anyone here mention it: the edi.exe doesnât start up for me, I installed the prerequisites on win11, tried running it as administrator, but nothing happens. It seems the program doesnât work anymore. Any tips?
There is no error, just nothing happens. Restarting did not help.
try installing older .net asp and desktop like 8.0.22 (See links from OP, but older versions)
then restart pc
Not sure if I missed a step. Installed and finds the correct funscripts as I navigate through a game menu. It also finds the com port for the OSR (only when plugged in) but doesnât seem to play through the device or show up on the right.
Am I missing something simple?
Try clicking âreconnectâ on the right after after selecting the right COM port.
If that doesnât work it might be your OSR is using an older firmware?
I am having the same issue as well. I have tried reinstalling the .net with new and old versions, and nothing worked. Let me know if you find a fix ![]()
Hello sorry if this is a redundant question but is there a list anywhere of (major) EDI compatible devices ?
