Yes, you can do this from a folder outside the game directory and select the EdiConfig.json file for the game you want to play.
Wow that makes swapping games much faster! Thanks for all you do!
Is there a way to go back to the original functionality where each EDI was with a specific game?
I put my edi integrated games in steam with art and I liked having it all managed with steam.
With the new version I can’t have multiple steam entries that start a particular game.
It was nice to have EDI launch the game, but it was also annoying to update EVERY game folder with EDI. Not that I think about it, just symlinking the exe and supporting files (while keeping ediconfig local only) into those folders would have been a bit easier.
Ah, okay. I’ll make EDI first look for an EdiConfig.json file in the local folder. If it finds one, it will automatically add it to the list and select it on startup. Would that solve the problem?
Yeah that sounds like it would.
In the latest version, I fixed some issues with the Handy HPS protocol, mainly over Bluetooth, where strokes could be lost during buffer negotiation.
I have issues using BLE in handy 2. I notice that after a long time, it will stop working. It is still listed in the Active Devices but it won’t move. I always have to click reconnect devices again in order for it to work again. This becomes a problem whenever I play a game for more than 30 mins. I first experienced it with the previous version and tried the new version and issue still happens. This issue doesn’t happen if I connected handy 2 to intiface and have EDI connect to intiface.
What game?
Hey, let me know if this release fixes the issue:
need help with connecting lovense hush 2, first time doing anything of this sort
download, install, open and hit the play button in the app before open EDI.
So the game I was playing was The Shimmering Horizon and Cursed Blacksmith and I tried this new version and issue still happens. I saw in the bottom when I started EDI that I can press F8 when there are issues so I pressed it when I noticed the handy is not responding when there is happening on screen. Pressed reconnect device and handy started moving again. And then closed EDI and opened intiface and connected the handy 2 there and then opened EDI and continued playing. Here is the logs for that day Gofile — Cloud Storage Made Simple
Hi, I’m trying out the latest 1.04 version. I like the new naming feature for scripts.
Is there a way to disable the load when switching scripts? It takes around 10 seconds where the dropdown and edit button in Game & General section is disabled until it is enabled again. I’m guessing it is doing something to update the config list? Perhaps that should be moved to a different button to reload list and allow quick swapping in the drop down.
hello for some reason my vacuglide is not in the ready state. I tried many things but it doesnt seem to work. Alternatively, I found this scriptplayer for vacuglide is there any way someone can create a mod to play funscripts on this: VacuFunPlayer 1.0.2 - connect VacuGlide2 to MPC-HC or HereSphere

To the Linux users out there, you can run EDI through Wine / Lutris just fine. You can even build the Windows exe on Linux using:
dotnet publish Edi.Wpf/Edi.Wpf.csproj \
-c Release \
-r win-x64 \
--self-contained true \
-p:EnableWindowsTargeting=true
if you have whatever dotnet requirements are needed.
I plugged EDI to Intiface central, which operated my SR6 as normal.
The Handy’s BLE connection can drop if the device goes idle. HaptiQ handles this by monitoring connection state and auto-reconnecting when possible.
Forgive my ignorance, but would a love sense solace pro work with this?
