So I tried some stuff yesterday. I found out that there is actually an alternative version of the Launch firmware (see this post Play "Handy" scripts on a Fleshlight Launch) that is supposed to improve dramatically the behavior of the Launch, especially in fast movements, and make it similar to the Handy.
I installed the new firmware (it went OK) and indeed there is a very noticeable improvement when using ScriptPlayer (I did not try MFP yet but probably it’s the same there). Unfortunately, with FFD the situation is still the same as before or almost (ie, very bad). I tried various values of the experimental algorithm (not 1000, but 300, 10, 50) and with these values the Launch does not move at all (actually it seems it moves but only micro movements of like 5mm).
So there is still a large room for improvement for FFD here. ScriptPlayer / MFP work well with the Launch, unfortunately that’s not the case yet for FFD.
