Can you add a function of direct contact with esp32?Intiface Central cannot be found esp32.
This version fixed the playback issues of the previous one, so now I have it working both on Kiiroo Titan and Fleshlight Launch, great! Iâll try the HereSphere support sometime as well, but itâs very nice to have such software available on Android. Congrats fyustorm and thanks for being so reactive.
Now only if it could support the FunOSR1 2.0 that I just received, it would be perfect, but I think it cannot as unfortunately the issue is on Intiface side (no Intiface support for that device on Android).
Yes exactly itâs on the Intiface side, and I see you replied on their forum.
Is it a hw or sw limitation that I cannot play local or chromecast AV1 movies?
For Android if you have Android 10 or later it should work. Itâs working fine for me
For Chromecast it seems like itâs only supported by the Google Tv Streamer :
So I have another bug to report (should not be too hard to fix). Some scripts are rejected as invalid by FFD when they have some metadata. A lot (probably all) FapTap scripts do have this metadata, for instance FapTap | The Interactive Porn Experience
Just click on the script button to download it, then add it on FFD: it will either reject saying it is invalid, or just crash. Would be great if this was fixed, as metadata does not make a script invalid.
Also, I again had the infamous bug where FFD is connected to Intiface, test button works, but no commands are sent to the device when watching videos. So unfortunately it is not fixed with latest version. But I cannot currently reproduce it precisely - I managed to make FFD âworkâ again but also cannot tell what âfixedâ it. Iâll try to reproduce and if I can 100% reproduce Iâll write here.

I would love if you could manually specify the intiface ip in the app though, so it is not only restricted to localhost. I often find myself connecting devices to my phone running intiface while watching the content on other devices. That would be great!
Indeed, it would be useful although you can already do that in the reverse way with the recently added HereSphere integration (ie, watch on HS on another device, while intiface / script player are running on the phone).

The script issue wasnât caused by metadata, but by a pos value using a decimal (.) while I was reading it as a long. Itâs fixed for the next release.
If you managed to reproduce the issue reliably, let me know â I havenât been able to reproduce it myself so far.
Also, have you tried the HereSphere sync? How is it working for you? Any issues?

No, did not try HS sync yet. Itâs on my TODO list but probably will take some time. Iâll let you know when I eventually get to it.
Itâs mostly because I am too lazy to reconnect my Bluetooth device to different devices all the time. Also I donât want to install Intiface Central on all my devices.
So I just use it on my smartphone which automatically connects to my Bluetooth device without having to repair.
Depending on what and where I watch, I just specify the intiface IP of my smartphone on the other device. This also means that I can move my smartphone closer to the Bluetooth device mitigating some connection problems I got running everything on my tablet.

@Fyustorm I have been able to reproduce the bug where FFD does not send out any commands. I am pretty sure there are many other cases where it happens, but at least I have now a protocol that 100% reliably reproduces the issue, which should help you fix it (and I hope for other cases as well). So:
1/ Launch Intiface, start server, scan devices
2/ Launch FFD. It will connect to Intiface and work correctly at this point.
3/ Force stop Intiface App in Android.
4/ Relaunch Intiface App, restart the server, relaunch the scan for devices.
5/ Go back to FFD. At this point, it will still be connected, and the Test button still works, but if you resume a video, commands wonât be sent.
The only way to fix the situation at this point is to force stop FFD and relaunch it.
It would be great if you could fix this, because Intiface Android is quite unstable (on my device at least) and I very often have to force quit it / restart it to make it work again. Having to force stop FFD to fix it is cumbersome (disconnect / reconnect to intiface does not work, simply quitting the app from Android also does not work, only force stop will).
Let me know if you need more details. Looking forward to see this (as well as the funscript bug) fixed in the next release.

Hello, does the SMB support anonymous login? Iâm trying to connect to my windows PC share but upon test it just says âunknown username or bad passwordâ - also it doesnât allow me to save the SMB entry. thanks for this otherwise great app, btw!

Cool, thanks! CIFS workaround is convenient enough for me so far but nice to see youâre working on this. Now if thereâs any chance for a VR/XR-capable player in the app in the future, that would make funflixdroid my endgame funscript player

Are you using Play for Dream android headset or something? Otherwise, use the HereSphere integration.
No, Iâm used to web players which display the VR SBS as a 180/360 video and have either the magic window (gyro) or drag controls. I usually watch on my phone directly, so that ultimate on-the-go solution to enjoy toys and (not full fledged but at least kinda immersive) VR videos would be an Android app that does both well.
Btw I have Heresphere installed on my PC but havenât figured out yet how to get it set up with this app..I just installed funflixdroid today and am new to both applications
