For those with large funscript libraries, I built a tool called Funscript Matcher using ChatGPT Codex.
You download a VR video and a few minutes later it just shows up in XBVR with a matching funscript attached.
Features include:
• Scene identification through XBVR
• Automatic video renaming
• Funscript matching from your own script library
• Automatically adds and links both the video and funscript in XBVR
• Scene preview generation
• Custom scene creation when no XBVR match exists
• Actress information and thumbnails for identifiable custom scenes
• Full library scanning or real-time folder monitoring
I still need to add a settings screen so users can select their own folder locations.
Would anyone be interested in using something like this?
I’d use software like this. It is tedious to do manually. I run xbvr on a NAS though - not from Windows. I wonder if your current implementation would work in this scenario? Also, are you manipulating the database directly? Does it support both SQLite and MariaDB? Those are both valid options for xbvr.
It could be adapted for a NAS by making the XBVR address configurable and replacing direct database reads with XBVR API calls. That approach would support both SQLite and MariaDB without database-specific code. The Windows GUI could remain on your PC while communicating with XBVR on the NAS. I have codex making it now and testing it.
