Funscripted.com

Also think about it in the span of 2 hours we found out who he was and before that there was concern. The community does care about script authors.

I was aware of funscripted.com honestly not a lot that could be done about it. But the relationship to script compiler is pretty damning. I know the creator of that site. That will need to be answered for.

I’m not where I have reliable internet. But once I do I will be reaching out to them.

I personally think he should be banned hes reuploading free scripts without permission and selling them.

When you say you know the creator of the site do you know of him before this instance or do you mean that you now have his info due to what @sobolsdaemon1 posted in this thread?

I know the creator of script compiler I’m just now learning of its relationship with funscripted.com

Hi everyone
I’m the developer/owner of ScriptCompiler.
First of all, thanks for bringing this up.
Since we are close/small community, I took down funscripted.com right now and I’m currently pulling its link and integration out of ScriptCompiler now.

I’ll be honest, the site was run by a partner under Bliss Online Entertainment Inc. The deal was he handled the site and the uploads, I handled the ScriptCompiler integration. He told me the scripts were AI-generated (fungen), and I just took his word for it.

To the authors this hit, I’m sorry. I will open a dispute with the partner and reimburse the amount generated, to the original authors of the script (I will try to compare the scripts since there is no relationship of the script with the original author in the database)

@VladTheImplier please reach out to me when you can and we’ll talk about this directly.

First of all: Thank you for responding here and taking the website offline so quickly.

I’d like to briefly revisit what I wrote and what you wrote.
To be honest, I think itĀ“s really interesting what’s happened here (again). You’re obviously aware of how small and close-knit the Funscript community is. I think that’s great! But I am a bit surprised that your ā€œpartner,ā€ who, according to you, ran the site, could be so disconnected from the community that he didn’t realize this could become a problem. After all, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. How did your partner even get the idea to run a website like this if he’s clearly not a member of the community, or is he a member and he just didn’t care who he might end up alienating?

I don’t want to rant or pillory anyone right now; I just want to UNDERSTAND how something like this happens and why it keeps happening. That’s how it was with bukkakemoe, that’s how it was with faptap, and that’s how it is with funscriptedcom. I’ve seen similar situations in other areas, but the communitys there tend to be a lot bigger and less ā€œclose-knitā€ than here. There, I can understand why someone might think they can get away with it without anyone noticing, but here, doesn’t everyone actually realize that won’t work?

I’m not trying to punish you or your partner here; I really just want to try to understand what happened and maybe work toward making sure it doesn’t happen again!
As I already wrote back when the bukkakemoe and Faptap issues came up: ā€œA simple question could have prevented this.ā€ If you offered a great website where scripters could sell their work and that was also great for users, I’d bet my life that there would be quite a few who would join you. For my part, I might find the joy of scripting again if I had an easy way to market my scripts. Aside from the fact that I’m not that fond of paid scripts, but that’s a whole other story. You can tell this by the fact that Faptap still has Users and that there are quite a few scripters who post their work there.

Please allow me to ask, in this context, how often were scripts sold on funscritpedcom? I completely understand if you can’t or don’t want to give an exact number, but I’d be really interested to know if there were users who paid 50 cents for a script that they could have gotten for free here. Also, from the perspective of whether something might be going wrong here in the forum that worked better on the website.

By the way, your partner’s claim that the scripts were AI-generated is easy to disprove. ;) I just looked at a few of the scripts that were for sale and compared them to the scripts available here in the forum. The file sizes were exactly the same every time. Even if he really had rescripted them from scratch every single time, the file sizes would be different. It’s clear that these were the original files from the forum.

End of the ā€œwall of text.ā€ So much for ā€œkeeping it brief.ā€ I hate myself for this, sorry! ;)

Not only were the file sizes the same the titles of the videos were too you can likely inspect the meta data for more evidence I’m sure that the names for the scripts were the same. As this is a serious issue we need disclosure we have no proof this ā€œpartnerā€ existing or ā€œBliss Online Entertainment Incā€ all contact info and site info points to Telemacy and the chances of this ā€œpartnerā€ coming up with the idea of running a site engaging with a community and culture they are not a part of is very unlikely. Other mods other than @VladTheImplier should be involved and the findings should be made public this involves hundreds of script authors and nearly 2 thousand free scripts being taken from the community and put on sale for monetary gain it’s a breach of trust, ip and integrity of the community. Telemacy has to be proven innocent and the community including script authors need to decide if he should be allowed back into the community. I think Telemacy should be banned if it is indeed him behind all of this.

Calm down, young Padawan. ;)

As I said, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened, and as long as we don’t understand why it happens, it will happen again. I have a few theories as to why it keeps happening, but I don’t have any clear evidence, which is why I’m making this friendly request to telemacy. ;) Fundamentally, every scriptwriter should realize that we’re publishing something online for free, and that the internet will do the things the internet does. Unfortunately, that doesn’t rule out unpleasant things like ā€œintellectual property theft.ā€ There’s little we can do about it, and there’s little we can change. No one bothers to report such things to the authorities. Especially since it’s not uncommon in the community to share free links to videos that actually cost money.

That’s exactly why we should keep our cool here and not try to use a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Instead, we should try to understand why this is happening and maybe—just maybe—try to prevent it from happening again. But we can only do that if we understand it. Sure, as a community (though a huge portion of the community probably doesn’t care at all), we could try to ban and condemn telemacy. But would that accomplish anything? He’d just create a new account, re-upload the website, and ignore everyone posting on the forum. Great, problem not solved! It would be much better if we could find a compromise or a solution.

His reaction has shown that he recognizes and understands the problem. Right now, I actually believe him. Whether this trust is misplaced remains to be seen. But for now, the principle of ā€œinnocent until proven guiltyā€ applies.

That’s why I repeat: ā€œCalm down you must, young Padawanā€

I understand your leniency but I hope he is honest and doesn’t lie and as for clarification it is very much possible to make it impossible for him to make a new account here.

You may share FunGen generated scripts only for free, without any restrictions.

Actually, it’s pretty easy to tell whether it’s generated or not, but if the file size already matches the original script, then that ā€œfriend storyā€ sounds suspicious.

It was really a fluke i noticed anything odd about the site. But when I search for scripts every few days and the first time the site ever came up and i did a search for content and it was showing the same scripts as here but had a charge for those that I knew were free here. Red flag instantly came up.

Not only that Telemacy uses eroscripts how would he not be able to tell that the same scripts and videos are being uploaded to his site.

Just to update everyone.
I will be speaking with @telemacy soon.
I have requested proof of this partnership, and asked for the contact information to that company.
I’ve promised to keep all information private unless absolutely necessary and will request permission to reveal that information.

I have also opened up on how to organize validating user’s theft and reimbursement. Eroscripts will assist with that by providing infrastructure and organisation of the process.

I realize i should say something here regarding uploads in the ā€œPublic Libraryā€ on the site, since its a bit of a FAFO moment currently happening. But i honestly didn’t think that many steps ahead when uploading ā€œFree-scriptsā€ from ES users.

  • Right now it’s 100% clear to me it was wrong since Public Lib requires preem membership etc.

I deleted my account (also would have done that anyways in the end) - but deleting the account should also delete my uploads with it.

Im new to this community tbh. So im sorry, and i shall move on with this as a lesson for the future.

  • edit: Dont want to come off as someone stirring up anymore stuff so i removed some ā€œpersonal opinion stuffā€ from this comment

I just built a great wall of text, but thank you for the attention to this matter! or something lol  wish you all a great rest of the day.
