Looking at the loudness metre, they’re about the same. But this one has lower pitch compared to the one in FunSR1 2.0 due to the bearings.

Though personally I prefer to mount it to a magic arm, clamp the arm to the desk and then rest the device on my lap. This is basically how I use my handy hands-free. There is several 1/4 screw holes on the FunSR1 2.0 you can use with the magic arm.
I don’t get what it means by “handy compatibility”.
