Yeah, I wasn’t dead set on the Vacuglide 2. I was just using it as an example. Definitely open to suggestions though.

Supposedly it’s caused delays to deliveries.

I just got mine today and after only a minute or two of testing, it suddenly sparked and started smoking while idle. I immediately disconnected the power to prevent further issues. Ngl, that was frustrating especially after waiting a whole month for it to arrive. 
Has anyone else experienced something similar?
I’m very sorry. It should have been a collision during shipping that caused the chip to come into contact with metal, resulting in a short circuit. The motor should be fine. I’ve messaged you privately, and I will definitely not let you bear any losses.

Not a Tempest Patreon atm so can not see all his posts. In one of his latest posts he writes this motor is the most expensive paperweight. What is his problem with it, you guys seem to have it working.

How does the Fleshlight case attach to the option “Fleshlight + Open”
On the website there isnt a clear pic.
The Fleshlight case has a notch on the open end for the cap. The case turns into a opening in the “twist” adapter of the toy. If you don’t have the twist attached, you’d just strap the fleshlight in like any other toy.
My experience is that the opening for that notch on the fleshlight case has enough play that the toy can sometimes detach. My solution has been to put a folded piece of paper into the notch AFTER I attach the fleshlight case to insure there is no way for it to turn and detach. You’ll understand what I mean once you have the machine.
Overall its a solid connection. I’ve had this toy for months now and once I worked out that shimming-hack I’ve never had it disconnect from the machine.

ok thanks. thats what i was thinking. I dont like strapping the fleshlight case in. id prefer it rotate and lock like it does with the twist, but a solid mount instead. I find twist module mounts janky, loose, and loud.
Just so this is clear, I have no affiliation with the company selling this.
This is 100% the quietest toy I’ve used. I primarily use the twist module as the connecting piece between my toys and the device; the loudest part of my system is when the twist module is twisting, followed by the sound my desk makes as the toy moves. If I disable the twist script the device can’t be heard at all through a closed door even at ~500 speeds, especially at default settings. I did some testing when I first bought it, and couldn’t hear the device running at high speed from just outside my office door. I’ve even overclocked my device slightly and it’s still very quiet unless the script does something extreme/violent. The motors for this device are awesome.
When it is powered on the twist-mount locks in place and does not move. My device is not loose at all. I sometimes forget that I’ve place a shim in the device and will twist to remove my fleshlight and it will shear the shim in half rather than twist when locked in place.
Only janky thing about it is the shimming thing I mentioned and that the twist module’s motor can collide with the power cable when at a full-upright position. I bent a connection in the power-socket when I was too rough with the device once, but it was easy to repair.

I’m super late in replying to this but I’ve done some consumer testing and the answer is yes though it doesn’t work how you’d imagine. The device automatically attempts to correct for any additional external forces applied to it. If you push down on the device, it will “press against you” as an upward force, and if you push up it will push down. These vacuum caps push and pull on the stroker which causes the device to attempt to do this self-correction. If you use the vacuum to apply a constant pressure then the OSR device will work semi-normally (the pressure difference at either end of the stroke somewhat alters the bottom/top 25% of any given script.) If you use something like the vacuglide which attempts to move the toy up and down using air pressure, each force applied to the toy will alter the fidelity of whatever script you are running, especially at high speeds due to this self correction.
My experience is that the vacuum caps work OK at low speeds, not at all with twist (the hose binds), and is incredibly annoying / difficult to set up / noisy. It also probably shortens the life-span of the motors in the device since I can’t imagine they are too happy with the extra load. I figure since the device is rated to use high-weight toys it’s probably okay to use at low/the lowest pressures a device like a vacuglide operates at, and if the vacuglide is paused.
I’ve never tried the Vacuglide 2, but maybe with careful scripting to sync the sunction and the movement of the device it could function better (sucking when moving down, blowing when moving up). I think if you’re trying to create, like, the perfect machine this could be a project for you, but otherwise totally not worth the effort.

Hi! I’ve had the FunSR Pro for about two weeks now and it’s been great! Major upgrade in every way.
I had a question about bluetooth vs USB, is there any performance difference or will bluetooth work for most scripts perfectly fine?
In my own testing it seems to be up to par, but I wanted to know for sure if there was any limitation going on.
Generally speaking, there is no difference. However, Bluetooth stability depends on the surrounding environment. If the distance is too long or there is environmental interference, Bluetooth data transmission will be less stable than USB.

Is there a way to keep the bluetooth connection on even when the power switch is off? To avoid connection loss and reconnection problems when adjusting the receiver default position by turning power off, adjusting position then powering back on.
