If you are using MultiFunPlayer there is a setting called ‘return to home position’ that if you pause and it receives nothing for a few seconds it will go back to the bottom (or where you set it to I guess).
Only just started using MultiFunPlayer, it is a bit cumbersome but I am glad I took the time to get it running, actually gives me a way of using the FSR1 with my VR headset.
SSR1 seems to be under active development, eg. Tempest has released SSR1 beta designs recently, are there more updates to FUNSR1 coming?
The FUNSR1 2.0 was updated in October last year.

Got the funSR1 about a month ago and now it’s having problems. Quits working after about 15 minutes of running a Funscript via MultiFunPlayer, motor temp hits around 140. In the video attached you will see it struggling and then completely stop with the green led flashing.
Am I in need of a new motor and chip?

I need a little help troubleshooting what is wrong with my toy.
I came back home after a long period of absence (almost half a year) and was excited to finally have some quality time. But for some reason funSR1 is not responding to any sort of scripts or moves.
AC adapter is lit green, toy itself also has red light inside it, while usb also correctly detects the toy and I can seemingly connect to both multifunplayer and faptap. But after that, nothing. Grip part loosely moves and does not stay in place like it should be iirc. Pressing buttons don’t do anything. Is it broken? I barely got any usage of it, like 5 tries maybe, it would suck very hard if that’s indeed the case.
Maybe I’m missing something? Can I do something to troubleshoot and fix it myself?
I mean to ask, are there any plans for an update eg. Funsr1 3.0? To include the newer changes tempest made. Thanks!
At present, there is no definite plan. However, there will definitely be an SR1 3.0. The current idea is to mainly focus on improving durability and ease of use, and find ways to make the product simpler and more convenient. But there is still no clear plan yet. (I am now fully engaged in the customized Onaholes project, and it is estimated that it will be released in about 1 to 2 months.)
First, check whether the power supply is correct. Use a power supply with an output of 12-24V.
Then, check whether it resets when it is turned on (whether the light on the side stays on constantly).

my SSR1 stopped working suddenly? when i plugin it seems that there is no reaction, its not powering up, it was moving briefly for a second before but now nothing just dead.

Mine stops after 15 mins and the green light is flashing.
It should be due to overheating that the device stops to cool down. Can it be used normally afterwards? It is recommended to buy a fan, which can effectively solve this problem.
