…picking up where this left off months ago… some kind of Stash integration would be pretty cool, maybe not to fetch videos, but possibly adopt some organizational methods - like tagging videos with performers, using metadata sources, etc
thats a really good shout, and its the direction i already want to take it. the scoped version is stash as a metadata and organisation layer rather than a media source, so it reads your tags, performers, studios and markers over graphql while the files stay local and play the way they do now. thats pencilled in for 1.0.
ill research the specifics you raised properly though, the performer tagging and the metadata sources side especially, since thats the part people actually live in day to day and its the bit i want to get right rather than half do. if theres anything particular about how stash organises things that you would want carried across, tell me and ill work it into the scope.

quick heads up, theres no update this week im afraid. my laptop has packed in and needs a replacement part, its been ordered but until it arrives i cant build or test anything, so theres no point me promising a date i cant hit.
sorry about that, i know some of you have been waiting on fixes from the last round. none of the work is lost, its all sat there finished or half finished waiting on the hardware, so as soon as im back up and running the next build goes straight out. ill post here when the part turns up and i know where i stand.

I must way that all of the problems disapeared thank you for that but i have a question is there a way to tell if video have multiaxis script without playing video itself like small icon or something

Hrm… I know I’ve got a few more than what I’m currently seeing, my guess is that it’s only showing the Box icon if there are actualy several scripts listed.
Maybe Combined multi-axis scripts dont show up?

This is likely the case since they are handled and detected differently, I’ll look into this when I’m able and have it fixed for the next patch

Had a weird error yesterday using a Svakom Jordan. There was basically no strength to the device when running scripts. It was reacting to the script, but it was like the intensity was capped at a really low value, for both the vibration and the oscillation.
I had it connected to a game through Intiface just before, so I thought that might be messing with it somehow, but restarting the device, Intiface and Funsync didn’t change anything.
There were also a few weird things on the device config menu:
-the test button made the device vibrate properly, it was only malfunctioning with the scripts
-the program seems to think this is an e-stim device. There was a slider and a checkbox related to that, and messing with either of them had no effect on my issue.
-putting the slider up to 100% gave a warning message, where the options are “cancel” and “delete”. I had to click either of them twice to make the message go away, which also closed the device config screen.
I used this device with Funsync before without issue, did an update break something?

I added a folder containing scripts and videos but the files don’t show up in the UI when not on C:/ but directly on E:/ for example. Also how do I get DeoVR working, the /deovr url isnt working.

Just tried the audience function with another person. It works great and it seems to keep sync very well. However, of another vid is started (manually or automatically via playlist) the remote person loses sync. They are still in the audience server though. But to resync them I need toadd their code to the server again or restart the server. I am using an H2 end they are using an H1.

Hiya! Just as a suggestion, I wondered if it’d be possible to make a headless variant of the app? I love using it a lot, but one thing I’ve always found a bit inconvenient is having to start up my PC to then start up the app.
Having a headless variant would make using the app more convenient as it would use a web interface that any mobile or PC device could work with, and would work well with any WiFi-enabled strokers!
Of course.. I expect this to be hard, take time, and it’s frankly niche so no worries if this is a hard no ! Jsut something I thought could add to the app if you wanted to :D

The player doesn’t seem to support soft subtitles inside video files (e.g., ASS tracks in MKV files), and can only read external subtitles. I hope support for this can be added in a future update.

how do you download on github? i googled a tutorial and i still dont know how to download this. i managed to get a zip folder but after unzipping its just a bunch of files with no executable so i mustve done something wrong. man i hate github

it was finicky but i figured out i can just download the setup and drag it into the folder with everything besides an exe in it and then make my own exe lol

Hi! Just finished building an SR6+Twist last week and tried this out, and I like it a lot! I do have a suggestion and a question, though…
Suggestion: If I have a video full-screen and exit back to the file list, the app stops being full screen. If the gap is wide (for instance, say, the file browser is in a small window) then this is fairly jarring, and any new video will load in this small window instead of being fullscreen. Perhaps a video-always-plays-fullscreen toggle in the settings, or alternatively the file browser ends up full-screen if the playing video is full-screen? I don’t think I’d want the browser to start full-screen, but having to re-enable every time I switch videos is kind of annoying.
Question: Maybe this is just new-multiaxis-user ignorance, but is there a way to provide gap-fills for non-L0 axes based on the L0 axis so I can use regular single-axis funscripts in 6DoF? Not necessarily as a feature for FunSync Player but if it DOES have that feature all the better

i’ve been seeing this error message on some videos. what it’s saying is of course non-sense, i can play HEVC files in my web browser and in mpv, and in both cases they play with gpu hardware acceleration running. that includes this specific file.
i’ve looked into the diagnostic log available from within the app’s “help” section, but i haven’t found any entries that would relate to decoding/hevc/ffmpeg etc.
