I will check it out, just kind of annoying as i dont have linux :x . Glyph is also going open source this week so people can do whatever they want. Wont have much time for glyph as i want to focus more on my patreon
Glyph 0.5.4 Changelog
Fixes
- Improved Linux serial port auto-selection for T-Code devices.
- USB adapter ports (for example ttyUSB*, ttyACM*) are now prioritized.
- Generic onboard UART ports (for example ttyS*) are de-prioritized to avoid wrong auto-picks.
- Improved Library navigation responsiveness.
- Added debounced content loading when switching quickly in/out of libraries.
- Added stale-response guards so aborted/older requests can no longer overwrite current UI state.
Maintenance
- Version bumped to 0.5.4.
Glyph is now open source! You can download Glyph on github
.
There are some files, like an wip android tv app or .psd file for the logo etc, if you wonder what those files are
.
I will eventually update glyph, its just hard to do right now
. Feel free to do whatever you want with this software, but please refer to me when publishing it somewhere else.
Have fun.
@uhntiss could you check out 0.5.4? Hopefully this fixes it.
Thank you for your work.
A feature Im missing is to adjust the range of the handy on via (two) hotkeys. It would be great if you could add that, seeing we can already assign hotkeys for other things.
Awesome work, the caching and metadata encoding works really well for my massive library. The only issue I’ve experienced is the multi-axis detection not checking if the funscript file has multiple axes like the ones used by MultiFunScriptPlayer.
I seem to have a couple issues. I’m running it on windows 11.
When I navigate to my video library, and look at folder structure, the backend seems to start chugging and become unresponsive. I was trying to get a playlist setup, but it couldn’t even pull the list of playlists anymore. It seems like going to folder structure and back is pretty heavy.
This is the folder structure it’s parsing, and it’s running on an M.2 NVMe
Yea, ive also noticed a drop in performance until it gets unresponsive. ive also seen some other feedback comments. Sadly, i dont have the time right now to get into work. But ill keep that in mind and try to fix it as fast as possible ![]()
Would it be possible to add Chinese?
sure, i can add this to my list
thx
Finally got around to trying the new build on Linux. Port selection works well now.
Internal player crashes/blackscreens after a few seconds of play. Using external MPV works fine though.
Yeah, i couldnt figure out why the internal one was crashing.. I might take a look at that later
Glyph v0.5.5
Performance & Stability
- Improved backend responsiveness when browsing large folder structures.
- Refactored library browse handling to use asynchronous filesystem operations.
- Added safer thumbnail warming behavior to reduce heavy spikes.
- Optimized watch-triggered rescans to target affected libraries instead of full-library rescans.
Date Sorting Fixes
- Fixed “Recently Added” and date sorting to prioritize file creation time (
createdAt) with fallback handling. - Applied sorting consistency across:
- Home/Recent workflows
- Library view
- File browser view
Localization
- Added/enabled Chinese (
zh) language selection in settings.
Funscript / Multi-Axis Improvements
- Enhanced multi-axis detection for embedded axis data inside a single
.funscriptfile (not only split sidecar axis files).
Version
- Bumped version to
0.5.5
niceeee! You are a selfless and dedicated person, truly great!! Thank you.
Thank you ![]()
I’m very sorry to bother you. In this version, is it only possible to organize folders outside the software and then import the entire folder into the software?
Is it not possible to create folders within the software and then categorize the videos into different folders?
(I apologize if this has caused you any confusion, as I’m using a translator.)
As of it is right now, you have to create the folder outside the software. you could choose 1 folder and create playlists for your videos. That could function as a separate folder. Hope that helps
okk~
Does Somebody know If Something simmilar exists for Android?
Hi! Is the linux server designed to run headless or does it require a display?
