Yeah, thank you so much for sharing Ryan, it is going to be very helpful.
Absolutely!
Here are the measurements directly from OhDoki!
And this is roughly all you would need to construct the mount, aside from the parent material, and a die grinder with carbide burr is what I used to make the oval slot for the USB-C. In my case, I had some 1/4x2 flat stock laying around. 1/4x1-1/2 would be the perfect choice.
Some of these things would cause the overhead to skyrocket for the avg DIYâer.
And here is a close look at the monitor arm, clamp style, and my go-to which is essentially an extreme duty cutting board (which is great for anyone who travels for a living) And also my favorite quick release style VESA mount, which makes packing it up an easy task. Also allows for you to quickly switch between other mounting solutions such as the in vehicle mount as seen below

Lightning fast at loading funscripts
Adds incredible detail to those scripts which were always too fast before (but we ran them anyway) Hats off to you Slibowitz! Before I learned how to modify or create scripts at a basic level, you put the fun in funscripts! There are a select few that are on your creative level where the vibration scripts make perfect sense. Like a fine art, youâve seamlessly laid in those touches to the best video edits out there. It is thanks to people like you that this community continues to grow exponentially, companies like OhDoki that welcome constructive criticism and pioneers like TempestMaxx R&D that continue to push the envelope of whatâs currently possible. The list goes on and on. G90AK has the coolest custom builds, and comes in clutch with upscales to fan favorites that are of poor quality.
Where will we be in another 20 years?
Yes, much faster than the Handy 1. It felt like it took ages to load a new script with the Handy 1. Handy 2 loads it pretty much instant.
Thank you so much for the compliment
Exactly what I want to achieve with my content and I am glad it turned out like that. I donât just want to create a funscript, I want to create an experience that you never forget and you want to come back over and over again.
Handy 2 handles all these movement so much better. I noticed it with vibrations as well. Handy 1 ârattledâ - Handy 2 actually makes them vibrate. Huge difference. Vibrations feel much better now and are what they are supposed to be.
Automated full sized AI dolls that are pretty much like the Handy, just in big. They connect to a video you want to experience and they mimic it perfectly.
I believe in you, Ohdoki ^^
Thank you for sharing your list with us on what you need to make the DIY build you created!
Always happy to share knowledge and insights! Surely one of the AI robotics companies working towards consumer robots for household chores will see the revenue potential of the dark side and not be concerned about the boycott by folks who likely couldnât afford them in the first place. ![]()
I did have an issue with TheHandy2 Pro cutting off several times last night. It seemed to me that it was more related to sensing a load than related to heat. The unit was not cold to the touch but was the furthest thing from hot! I like to pull the strap tight and overclocking is a feature I want to use to the fullest extent. If you have had any concerns similar to mine, I am definitely looking for insight as to which settings need to be adjusted to remedy the issue. I havenât gone crazy with temp thresholds or anything yet. At one point I couldnât physically power down the unit, so I had to find the âhidden resetâ which did the trick. Iâve not found a forum where this discussion has been started as of yet. But I do know one thingâŚ.the OG Handy didnât give not one fuck two fucks when it came to literally being abused. Iâve strapped heavy Fleshlights, even sleeves into penis pumps for constant suction pressure at full speed and full stroke for hours on end. When the Handy stopped, it was legit scalding hot. I never waited for it to cool off. I unplugged and plugged it back in until I had a green light. Then maybe I went for a slower script. Maybe not
Maybe I released some pressure from the pump. Maybe I didnât. Maybe I shortened the stroke. Youâre picking up what Iâm putting down ![]()
I donât care what the price point is. This newer model with stronger and faster everything, and a longer strokeâŚ.will in fact wind up in the box of forgotten strikers if either a settings adjustment or firmware update doesnât rectify the issue. If it doesnât get physically hot, then I want it to either keep going or die trying. Failsafes and protective features only ruin the potential for something claiming to be better than the last. This can only be true for those using a delicate grip and not gooners that have destroyed their sensitivity from porn addiction/self isolation lmfao

PSâŚthe issues I mentioned are with the current firmware as of writing. Same day of delivery as well. I will look to see if I can roll back to a firmware I never had to begin with and test multiple parameters. May even find maximum
values for temperature thresholds and go back to the old school method of âthatâs way too hot, perhaps I should give it a restâ like I do with any power tools I own which are often used for demanding tasks.
I tossed the tire pressure monitors when I put the new set of rubber on my truck because I know a low tire when I see one. I guess I just come from a time when life was simpler. Gas cans had a regular spout and a flip up pressure relief directly where it was needed. You could still buy a full sized pickup with a manual transmission. You knew your neighbors. And the JCPenney Christmas Catalog, or a fresh AOL CD and some dial up internet could land you all the whacking material needed ![]()
When I 3D print the extender or double strap? What magnet would I need to buy/ how would I insert the magnet or would it work without the magnet?
My favorite handy sleeve is the mod long (due to loose fit but strong sensations).
What onaholes would you recommend for someone with those preferences. There are so many options! Iâm not sure where to begin.
Iâve noticed the same. At moderate to fast speeds (250-400u/s), the device struggles to reach top bottom during downstroke, and sometimes it kind of gives up/cut off for a fraction of a second and then carries on with the next scripted action point which moves it upwards.
This doesnât happen to me at low speeds, in fact a slow blowjob/deepthroat can really make you feel the torque of the motor pushing down hard on your cock through the sleeve, considerably more than the OG Handy, and it feels amazing. However, during a repetitive up and down faster section like cowgirl -as I said, somewhere between 250-400u/s- it really struggles to go all the way down. My OG Handy didnât have this problem (I never updated it to firmware 4.x though) so I also think this is more related to firmware than heat or other hardware limitations, more so considering that as I mentioned, at slow speeds you can really feel the torque pulling down hard.
Maybe this improves with more use though. I noticed that the slider was very stiff during the first couple of days, but now itâs noticeably looser, you can move the slider up/down with the device turned off and it doesnât offer as much resistance as it did at the beginning. So I think it needs some breaking-in period to loosen up a bit. The device comes very well lubricated out of the box, you can see the grease/lube if you examine it closely, so maybe it needs time/use to spread evenly.
PS: I noticed this improvement in the stiffness of the slider particularly after overclocking it to the 600mm/s preset, maybe giving the device more power helps it loosening up

Iâm experiencing that as well when it is cinched down. It could be a complex number of things with OhDoki adding the parameters for the soft starts and stops, extra adjustments and as suchâŚI would assume extra âload sensorsâ. But for me, itâs cutting off completely. It doesnât lose WiFi connection the majority of the time, and I primarily use heresphere and play local files. Simply hit the refresh button and itâs going within two seconds. Other times it is completely frozen with the lights still on. Canât switch back and forth from WiFi and BluetoothâŚcanât long press the power button to turn it offâŚnothing. Paperclip reset is the only thing working at that point. Before I went to sleep, and again today, the Bluetooth function is tripping balls. It will see the handy2, connect to it, and immediately drop that connection. As many times as I refreshedâŚit said the same thing. The errors msg disappeared so fast I had to be quick with the screen-shots.

The OG definitely doesnât have that issue, which is why Iâm having trouble sensing higher torque throughout the struggles. Until it freezes up, it is doing some beautiful transitions on high speed, complex script work and shows so much promise. As OhDoki mentioned previously, only KickStarter backers have the luxury of overclocking without voiding warranty. I appreciate that as well. The silicone is peeling up around the display screen already after two uses. As they learn firmware changes that are needed, considering a different adhesive that will stand the test of time, and responding to all of the oddball issues as well as the common onesâŚit would be great if they released something identical to FW 3 other than a be new end points. Let us find out if it is actually going to be better than the OG. At the time of this writing, it is falling short in all ways that matter.

Iâm sure to an extent there is a sweet spot in break in period, but I distinctly recall not having the issue with the OG. Mine eventually developed some minor slack where the strap receiver connected to the allthread stroke mechanism. But as for ease of sliding up and downâŚthat was very hit and miss and still is. If it is nearly at 0 or nearly at 100, my OG OG Handy prefers to be slid manually to the closest end, and then will allow relocation with one finger.
The sleeves break in amazingly, right before they are full of holes. Like a flannel shirt that grandpa has had through thousands of wash/dry cyclesâŚjust as soft and comfortable as you can imagine. Iâm sure that sleeve material relaxing some will help some.

I cranked my high limit to Maxine the moment I connected to the inbounding app. Reset to default settings after some issues. When I get home I doubt it will connect to onboarding. Have you successfully Bluetoothed to anything else like SLR? I need to troubleshoot before I open a support case. These folks are going to be swamped for several months
No, I just use Wi-Fi for use in Heresphere. Tinkering with the settings and using the sort of testing controls that the onboarding app has needs bluetooth though, and I havenât had a problem with that.
Lucky you! The app worked great for me until the first significant freeze up requiring the hidden button trick. I will probably have to do a full wipe and that pisses me off. I changed keys 100 times until I found one that was catchy with only uppercase letters and numbers.
I wish we could just pick our own âPasswordâ
@Slibowitz do you know if the handy team will send this product with the updated 3d printed adapters in their final product for the release? And another question, how will our old scripts for handy 1 convert into this new Pro model for example? itâs gonna be a pain in the ass to try receive updated scripts. Thanks for an amazing review
The new ClickOns have been delayed afaik (for a month or two) the reason being that they want to get those right so things will still change it seems. Handy 1 Scripts work fine if things were made correctly. Not being frame perfect or not using additional ancor points for speed changes are really noticable though if you change the Handy 2s minimum and maximum settings (minimum speed being the important part). Otherwise strokes can be extended now (which in my case for a lot of scripts means increasing certain parts for the Handy 2 to use the new speeds, before that I had to nerf certain parts in scripts the reason being the max speed). Increasing the torque so that certain parts feel more real (e.g. someone getting slammed in doggy) can be done by forcing the device to increase speeds at the bottom just 2-3 frames before the 0 point for example. Not exactly needed, but certainly important if you feel like some torque has been lost (which can also be changed by just changing the devices settings and decreasing the stroke length).
Tons and tons of things that I could get into now (scripting and other Handy 2 Pro tips) which is why I still havent done a review (not to mention that there are still a lot of small issues with the Handy 2 Pro, some of them appearing after some weeks of use). Too early for that.
The most important thing is not to immediately exchange the Dot Band with another band and to get an extension ClickOn printed (which I guess shouldnt change anymore, so go ahead and print that one now and dont wait until I think March). Those two things improve the experience so much that I am still flabbergasted that they didnât send the basic device with those out. The Dot Band and the normal ClickOn are horrible. So horrible that it imo can fuck up the first experience someone could get with the device. For me though some other issues start to appear: the silicon casing (which is nice) is getting loose.
Also in regards to the Teflon coating (which is gone) :
â in my case that fucked me up, cause my lead screw wasnât really greased at all. Not to mention that it doesnât seem like anyone tried greasing the lead screw on their team. Trying to get to the lead screw without touching anything else is horrible so itâs prone to get dirty here and there with grease (canât be good for the silicon too)
All in all, I still have some good time with the Handy 2 Pro and itâs still early days, but I am 100% sure that the device wasnât tested by real users that really use those devices. Otherwise a lot of the issues would have been found way earlier. I am sure a lot of lab tests have been done which is nice and all.
Handy 1 is build like a Nokia 3310 and the Handy 2 Pro currently more like an older Samsung Galaxy S2-3 or some other older not iPhone smartphone which is still good, but has some build issues (glueing for example).
The speeds and smoothness are worth it for me though. I would stan all day and all night if those other issues would be fixed. Some of the above issues have been fixed though (like the lead screw greasing for arrival) and those are also still Kickstarter devices so always keep that in mind.
