🔬 Handy 2 Pro: The Ultimate In-Depth Review

Thank you!

Thank you!
No, I didn’t notice anchor getting loose so far. Everything is stable. Out of all the reported issues, I only have the problem that in the Handy app the battery levels are showing zero most of the time. Often only shows after I plugged in the USB-C cable.

Another issue I now have, that the 65w charger I ordered doesn’t work with the Handy 2 for some reason. I noticed it’s not charging, I then checked the app. Always changes from connected, to not connected, to connected, to not connected for the cable. Charger seems fine, since it works with every other device. No idea if Handy 2 issue or charger issue.

I can imagine the standard strap is even worse for more girthy people. The pro strap should be better, because it’s 28.5 cm long, about 2 cm longer than the normal strap.

Small update on my reddit post. I asked if the spacers will be a 3d print only or if they will add it to their store. He responded that it will probably be both. So we’ll get a 3d blueprint, but can also buy it on their store.

He also said for the custom profile for overclocking, the max speed can be 1600. So in case the 1200 isn’t enough yet, you can add another 400 on top of that ^^ Looking at you @VladTheImplier ^^

And we should trim the “slider end buffer” and/or “slider end zone speed limit” values for better slider behavior. Full quote down below:

handy_lars:

I assume both.

Also, you can set your preferred min/max speed limit in the overclocking option if none of the default profiles are a perfect fit.
Select the “Custom profile” and set your own min/max speed values in the range 0-1600.
There is another 400 mm/s you can add on top of the “Rocket/maximum recommended” profile’s 1200 max.
Make sure to also trim the “slider end buffer” and/or “slider end zone speed limit” value to avoid having the slider crashing into the ends when it reaches full speed.
Stay safe!

thank you so much for the detailed review, i will 1000% be sticking with my handy 1, i just dont see enough upgrade to justify buying a handy 2, to the point if my handy broke, id try to buy another handy 1 before splurging on a handy 2

i guess handy 1 just works great for me as is, i see no need to upgrade for a few things,

however, a twist add on would be a mind changer

the handy has fucked over so many of my onaholes when i first started - shearing off so much TPE and making it incredibly sticky. Thanks for the review, I guess i will not be purchasing the handy 2

While these issues with Onaholes are there, you shouldn’t write the Handy 2 off because of that. Yes, at the current state Onaholes are practically not useable and only smaller Onaholes can work.
But the two-strap system will definitely make Onaholes work, I am very sure about that. Once this system is out, the Handy 2 will be the best device for Onaholes, since it’s much more powerful.

Absolutely understandable. Maybe some expected a bigger upgrade from the Handy 1 to the Handy 2. I personally think the upgrade is significant. The better motor, which results in much smoother movements, the longer stroke range, the better noise levels plus features like overclock, make the Handy 2 substantially better than the Handy 1. Yet alone the convenience of a wireless experience is something not to underestimate.

AI Translation:
Thank you for your hard work. The points raised in the article about onaholes are very appealing to me. I basically own every onahole that’s received a five-star recommendation on Onadoga. I believe that onaholes are the true essence — just like you said, a perfectly cooked steak.

I once used an SR together with an onahole, but after accidentally slipping out, the edge of the device’s hard surface hit my urethral opening. That experience made me abandon the SR entirely.

Back to the Handy 1: although the gap is wider, due to gravity, larger onaholes still inevitably collide with the device. At high speeds, this even causes serious wear. With the Handy 2’s narrower gap, it’s predictable that the situation would be unacceptable. If I were limited to using only onaholes around 300 g / 13 cm, it would be nothing short of a nightmare.

Thanks for such a detailed review Slibowitz!

One question I have for anyone on this thread: I’m disappointed to hear that the threading for mounting is on the bottom and on the lower back side, and another one on the very bottom. I typically mount the Handy using a mic stand from the top, using the The Handsfree Cup top-mount adapter.

Does anyone know the exact measurements, or — even better — have a 3D model file (e.g. STL) of Handy 2? I’d like to design an attachable mount that secures the Handy from the top, and I’ll happily share it with everyone on the forum who mounts via mic stand from above.

Use the reverse slider setting in the app and you can turn your H2 upside down and use the mounting holes at the top. Thats how I am using my H2P with my handsfree setup and it works without any issues.

Thank you for your input!
That is indeed very important and something to keep in mind. Having any toy, doesn’t matter if sleeve, Onahole or Fleshlight, rubbing against the device, can will eventually lead to damage on the device and the toy itself. I really hope the two strap will fix this and the distance between slider and device will be better.

You are welcome!

That should be the setting you will need to go for. In the app, you can just reverse the slider and then you can mount the way you need. Very cool and useful setting for scenarios like this!

I got my two ClickOn adapters (printed the extended and double band ones) and they are much much much better than the standard one. Can’t believe they didn’t put the extended one as the standard one. Pretty baffling (same thing with the dot band). So yeah improves things a lot.

I kinda have the issue though that my Handy 2 Pro always needs to warm up now for a bit until it really gets up to speed which is pretty annoying. Feels like it needs to re lubricate itself (with the telfon coating) until it can get up to speed. That’s the only issue I have for now and otherwise it’s an amazing device really.

I might be blind/dumb, but how can you see the remaining battery charge on the unit? From what I can tell you can only see it after you put in a charger, but surely that’s not true, right?

Thank you for the update! That is very good to hear and pretty much what I expected. These adapters will make the Handy 2 even better than it is. And you said correctly, this should have been the standard adapter. But it’s good to hear it’s much better than the standard slider. Would it maybe be possible to share some pictures on how it looks? I am curious to see the difference.

Turn the device on, then go open the Handy app. Then go to device info → battery. There you can check the battery status. There is a known issue, where the battery info shows all zero. In that case, you have to plug in a charger to see the status, like you said.
A bit unfortunate, but something they Handy team will likely fix soon,

From their Discord:

Battery Indication Confusion,

Some users have reported confusion or errors with the battery information displayed on the device. We recommend you to update the firmware to the newest revision and reset the MCU In the future, this shouldn’t be a problem because we will flash the device’s with an updated version of the Firmware from the factory.

Sure, quickly made some photos:

Really great job by them so will use them for future things and community made things too I guess. A bit above 20€ + shipping for 100% filling and ABS

Thank you for sharing the pictures! So much better. Especially the extended adapter. The difference is huge. For my taste, the two strap adapter could have a bit more distance between the Handy 2. Bigger Onaholes might still touch the device. But the size of the two strap is much better.

Would you mind sharing what service did you use to print those and do they ship worldwide?

but looking up shipping it’s 70€ for countries outside the EU. I am pretty sure there are at least a few good services everywhere. : ) has been a thing for a while now at least in Germany.

Thank you so much!
If i can’t find something locally i will try this one 100%

Just call your local 3d printing service and they’ll make print you a thing in a day

3d printers are so cheap (~$700) anyone can start a business

Can you please share a bit of info on what print settings you used?
I saw the 3D files around, but abdul was saying that they might be brittle, so I wanted to make sure these are usable before printing.

I was using
Material Type PETG
when printing abdul’s other stuff using craftcloud3d.

Hey, already written in my post with the screenshots:

Btw just a quick question because i couldn’t find it anywhere else, is the file measurements in millimeters or centimeters?
