I’ve been using the handy with my meta quest 2 for a while now and wanted to try the feelstar fleshlights. Can I use the fleshlight with my handy or should I get the kiiroo keon? I like to do a lot of script stuff not a big fan of just using the handy with no video and script.
In general with the og Handy, it doesn’t really handle the fleshlights or feelstars ‘well’.
You can use it with just the inner sleeve if you can find a way to strap it to the handy but theyre much longer than the handy sleeves so they’ll end up flopping around if you don’t have a solution.
As for using it with the hard case, you’ll also need a solution to strap it to the machine but there’s also an issue with the Handy struggling with too much weight. Cause the plastic case adds weight and then the longer sleeves are hefty.
As for the Keon, I’m a user of the Keon despite it being highly unpopular but I wouldn’t really recommend buying the Keon JUST to use it with the other form factors of sleeves. At the price you can buy a Keon for, you could probably look into the DIY multi-axis machines like the OSR2(which would give you access to tilt forward/back, tilt left/right and twist). Since youre using the Handy Im assuming youre probably handsfree and are using it at a desk, so the DIY machines needing to be mounted isn’t that much of an issue. There’s also the SSR1 which is single-axis diy device thats closer to the Handy’s performance that uses the fleshlight case form factor.
However if youre just looking to use a commercially available stroker with the fleshlights/feelstars, yeah the Keon will be fine. The performance just isnt as good as the Handy but it’ll be fine for most use cases outside of the slowest and the fastest scripts(since it cant handle too many points too close together).
Would the handy 2 be better with the feelstar? Also what if I use zip ties with the handy?
You would have to check the specs and ask around, I dont have a Handy2, but out of the box it was designed for use with the shorter inner sleeves.
So im assuming people are just gonna port over their handy1 solutions to the handy2.
Do the research and ask around. Im just here to say if you want to use Feelstars and fleshlights the keon will do it for the most part, but I dont recommend buying it JUST for that. If you want to use those sleeves and can pay $200+ usd, you might as well look into the OSR multiaxis machines since the handy will take care of most of your other use cases.
