After I switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11, Script Player stopped playing videos with the AV 1 codec, although all other players work fine. I just select a video and it simply won’t start, even though the script has loaded.
Sometimes with Windows you have to install a video codec. Maybe that’s the case here. I think this is the link to the AV1 codec AV1 Video Extension - Microsoft Apps
Strangely, when I open cnjhsyre AV1 Video Extension in the Microsoft Store, I don’t see an “install button”. Instead, there is an “open button”. And when I click the open button, the usual media player opens
Hmm.. I’m not too smart about this kinda stuff. I wish I could help more. Hopefully someone else has some ideas.

I already had Download K-Lite Codec Pack Basic installed earlier, and yesterday I reinstalled it. After that, Script Player stopped playing all video formats with any codecs.
I don’t understand what’s going on at all, everything was fine.
I’ve tried everything I could, read the tutorial from the script player developer, searched for information on forums, but nothing helps.
I regret switching to Windows 11 so much.

I have the same issue but i use handbreak to convert the files in .mp4 and 60fps. its my only fix since av1 codec does not work unless i have to make a fresh windows 11 install which is absurd for a video codec to work. Bare iun mind i did do all the steps above before even replyihng so i’m also at a loss on how to make av1 codec work with script player. For now i will just convert to .mp4 format.
