I want this post to serve as a place I can get a general look at how users feel im handling the site since taking over.
It’s been a few months now and I wanted to get a look at users thoughts.
Feel free to speak your opinions below about how I’ve been doing in general.
If there’s something I did you disagreed with I want to hear it. note: This is not a thread I want to see debate or bringing up prior issues. Stick to criticisms about how I’ve handled things.
I think the site has greatly improved in the last few months
I think the site has slowly gotten better
I think the site hasn’t been improving
I think the site has gotten worse

I have had concerns and they have been resolved satisfactorily
I have had concerns and they have been resolved but not how I liked
I have had concerns and they have been addressed but not resolved
I clicked the “I think the site hasn’t been improving” button. But that’s just because I didn’t really have any issues before you took over and I haven’t had any issues after you took over.
I know it’s not necessarily on you nor am I blaming you in any way, but lately I feel like the diversity and availability of free scripts have been lacking. I feel like lately it’s been mostly animated stuff or Japanese films. I want to support paid scripters, but I also don’t want to pay for several different patreons to get maybe 1-2 good videos a month. It would be nice if there was a way that we could pay for a singular subscription and have access to all paid scripts while fairly splitting those profits to the scripters. Not sure how something like that would work though.
I don’t think you get ENOUGH recognition. I mean….ES is a luxury, not a necessity. You could have easily just said “fuck it” and let it die. But you stepped up, worked to get it through the “extreme load” weeks, migrated the sit to a different server?, been attentive to most issues and large amount of complaints, invested your own hours of life and money, expanded the inclusivity, on and on.
I wish more people would express their gratitude toward you…on the daily.
Thank you for all that you’ve done, do, and will do.
I see at least 3 paid scripts for VR scenes each week. None are Patreon either - all for individual purchase. That’s on top of 2-3 free VR scripts per month. That’s a new script every other day.
What’s considered good is individual. I Personally don’t care for the VR content. Too much hassle to set up in my opinion, I also don’t care for singular scenes. I enjoy stuff that has several different scenes in the video.
But in the spirit of improvement/feedback - I still find the site slow to respond at times. Asset loading is fast (assuming since its coming from a separate server), but load/responsiveness can be very slow sometimes, and ultra quick others. Still a HUGE improvement over before, but something that still is a pain sometimes. Always happy to help with logging times or user testing - just reach out if I can be of any help.
I can agree on that. It’s much better than before most of the times, but the last day or two (and on other occasions) I’ve experienced the site to be a bit sluggish at times. You click, nothing happens for a few seconds and then everything loads really fast.
I’ve also got this message that search isn’t available because the site is under extreme load. Not often though.
Anyways, great work with the site overall. It’s much better now! Good work with all these small improvements like required tags when creating posts etc.
Looks like The tally was mostly positive. I’m glad to see it.
I wish the users that had concerns but didn’t feel like I resolved it satisfactory told me why though.
I’ll leave this topic open for a bit longer in case users want to express opinions but I’ll close it within the next few days.
I missed the poll but the site has been working as intended for a long time now. At least when it comes to searching scripts.
Pages load a bit slow of course but not anywhere close to a point where it is an issue. Considering how little ads and other monetization there is, I can’t really complain. Faster page loading would probably be expensive I would assume.
