Maybe that’s worth a toggle, but personally I do love the idea of getting to see the new seed’s options, even if there’s a ~10s loading to generate it. I have a couple dozen short videos in there so I like to make sure it’s not grouping them all up next to one another, which is why I was trying to adjust it. I appreciate the quick response, glad to hear it’s not some odd hardware incompatibility!

After making a somewhat enjoyable library of images I gave this a go last night. I really do love what you made, it’s simple to use and effective. I don’t mind that the default beats are extremely short, it makes you really look forward to the faster ones. For edging purposes this is great. I went about 35 minutes into the session and I was eagerly hoping the stroke lengths would be longer, but they only increased and slightly changed position during videos, but still within that small margin of stroke length. I understand that the stroke length is limited to the amount of time between the beats. I did not attempt to change and of the settings, but I notice the longer the session, the images start to flicker twice. Maybe consider on those images you create one down stroke on the first whole beat and one up stroke on the second beat of the image? I hope that makes sense. I do hope more people upload specific fetish galleries for this to make it more modular and can be traded out. Is there a way to change the words that flash on the screen during the more intense moments?

Great Job! I really like the programm. Also after some testing i maybe have a fix for the stroke lenght. If you set the “Standard Jerk: Peak Fraction” in Phase Settings and General to 0.5 and the Rise and Fall Fraction to 1.0, it will do the full lenght of the Stroke. Correct me if i’m wrong but i think the Peak setting is basically the lenght of the beat while anything but 0.5 is compressing the beat thus shortening it and the rise and fall fraction is basically how fast the beat performed (lower number equals faster beat). Just in case it wont work for others here are my settings:

Some things i would also like to see:
- Preload the images before starting the session. My pc isnt the best so even with around 200 files it keeps buffering mid session
- Hotkeys like skipping to next event would be nice. Also somewhere to tell what hotkeys are available (cause i just randomly came across the F1 setting to change latency of the beats)
- Backgrounds or Filters like “DarkkSkull” mentioned
Also about the crashing while changing the session length. I got it to work with 30 mins but only with one or two session seeds. I think the programm is trying to pack all the different phases into a seed which isnt long enough and crashes because of that but that is just speculation.

This is honestly a really good idea and app (game).
I’d love to see content packs come out for this based on certain hypno fetishes and collabs with content creators such as Quakkiibabii and Shibby.
Or pairing with an AI to filter out/scrape based on your preference would be a game changer. Especially if we don’t know the images/videos but know the “genre”

Got to try this a bit ago and I’m really liking what you’ve got going here. Tons of potential. I have a few features in mind that I’d like to recommend:
- Pronoun choices, the option to be called something other than “boy” (girl, kitty, pet, toy, etc)
- Post-orgasm torture, with a probability slider. Gives a set chance for POT to happen, otherwise you get the default slow script. POT can be its own, more intense script, or it can do nothing to the pace but instead induce another programming phase.
- In the same vein as POT, the option to enforce multiple orgasms per session would be pretty fun too- making it so that the session only auto-ends after you cum x amount of times, or when you hit the time limit
- Choosing audio to play instead of the rain sounds(if you’re a freak like me, imagine playing this with ear licking asmr instead of rain sounds)
- Having hypno spirals be more present within the experience, rather than being a phase at the end(tbh I’ve only done a couple test rounds and haven’t gotten to the spiral section yet..)

The spiral is just the name, it doesn’t have any hypno spirals for now, it’s just a looping edge play thing that barely works for the moment, this is in such early stages right now. There are lots of bugs and barely any real functionality.

Quick update for yall so you don’t think I have abandoned the project and to let you know what’s coming in V2.
I have been working hard to get stroke length working properly, it’s a struggle of making sure all the settings work still with granular controls and checking about 100 different things each test run, I am adding a new setting that makes the strokes behave slightly differently so that full length is achieved. I think I will ship the next build with default settings to use 100% stroke length from the start but keep the settings to lower that at to user preference.
I have overhauled the script settings menu entirely to enable people to use it more smoothly with 100’s of session interrupts (the more intense sections). I’m also looking into a crashing bug that happens sometimes when entering the script settings menu.
You guys are asking about “packs”. I assume you mean like importable folders or zips that have full foldered/organised image sets in them already. I don’t have a solid plan for that yet but I see it’s an anticipated function so it’s been bumped up the list and I will plan a proper function for that.
On these same lines I am looking at importable string settings so people can share settings more easily. (I see yall doing that already in the comments but I wanna be able to compress that so it doesn’t crowd the thread.)

Big update, thanks to everyone in this thread. Almost all of it came from your reports.
Crashes
- Fixed the crash on Next Seed.
- Fixed the crash when changing session duration.
- Fixed the crashes on Play and on opening Script Settings with a large video folder. The video scan now saves its results, so it is much faster the second time, it survives being interrupted, and it remembers files it cannot read instead of trying them again every time.
- Video files that cannot be read are now written to the log with their codec, so if it still happens I can see what the file actually was.
Handy
- Every session was sending one script segment that was 2 to 3 times over the Handy’s size limit. That is fixed.
- Stroke length: the device was not reaching the ends of the stroke because the direction changes were too sharp. I changed how long the stroke rests at each end, which should give you more of the range.
- Video segments were stuck at maximum BPM. New defaults are much lower.
- Removed an automatic timing correction that was fighting with your own delay setting and moving the slider while you played.
- New keys:
,and.nudge the Handy timing by 10 ms while you play, and the value shows on screen so you do not need to open the settings.
Performance
- Fixed the lag when the timeline has a lot of insertions.
- Broken images were being read from disk again every 5 seconds for the whole session. They are now remembered after the first failure. If your session was stuttering in the middle, this is the most likely reason.
- The timeline bar could draw outside the edges of the screen.
New
- Seed box. You can type a number or a word, “turtle” works, then press play to run that exact session. There is copy and paste next to it, so two people can run the same thing.
- Content packs. Import and export packs as zip files. Each pack is its own set of media and keeps its own settings, so loading a pack does not touch the library and settings you normally use.
- Editable flash words. Change them in the app from the Media Library, or edit the text file.
- Audio Settings screen, with proper sliders, also available from the pause menu.
- Hypno spirals. Not a spiral image on top. It is a distortion of the whole screen, so images, video and the words all bend together. You can turn it off or limit its strength in Script Settings, because a moving full screen warp does not suit everyone.
- Hotkey card. A
?button in the bottom left shows every key. It fades out while you play and stays put on the menus. Skipping to the next event was already in there asMandN, there was just no way to find that out. - Reset to default buttons on the settings.
- Fixed the main menu button after a session, which could take up to 30 seconds to respond.
Two small clarifications
- The images showing on two beats is a setting, not a flicker bug. Teasey, your idea of a down stroke on the first beat and an up stroke on the second is on my list.
- Space is explained on the screen before the session starts now, if anyone missed it.
Intiface
A few of you have asked for it. I have started on it and it is harder than I expected. The game builds a whole script and uploads it to the Handy in advance, and most other devices do not work that way, so it is not a case of adding one more device. It needs a real rewrite of that part. I do want to do it and I will get around to it, it will just take time.
What I need from you
I can only test on my own machine and my own Handy. Stroke length in particular worked for me before and clearly did not for some of you, so please tell me if it still feels short after this update.

“Video segment budget ratio” issue is fixed. I also moved the “reset to defaults” button that kept getting accidentally pushed and I fixed a bug where images that were retyped from .webp to other file types where not loading correctly into the game.
Edit Version 2.1 with these fixes is now live on the itch.io page.

Is there a discord server or something? I would love to see a place where people can share their image and video packs they have compiled if that’s a possibility!

I don’t think I will do a discord server. I don’t want the responsibility of managing an 18+ community on discord, there are lots of laws and civil responsibilities that I don’t have time to keep up with or police. Discord doesn’t police this stuff by itself.
This thread and Pixeldrain work well for now though. I may look into a different solution later if the project gets popular enough.

It’s just a remnant of me developing the way spirals work, it’s not a functional part of the app, I just left it in because it’s still in beta and I thought people might find it interesting to play with.

Loving the update, feels much better and it uses the full range much more often, although I think there’s still some room for improvement here, at least for the default phase settings. Seems like it does still repeat the same limited range of movement for a long time at high BPM. I think the limited range is fine so it feels fast, but I think it could move about more frequently, e.g. 0-20 for 10s then up to 80-100 for 5s etc, with some rng. Just some more frequent variety would spice it up - but to be clear, it’s not bad at all now.
I feel like the natural route for future versions would be to increase customisation and variety, for packs especially.
I think Soft, Medium, Intense and Programming are all essentially just a type of “section” but with a different label. These could essentially be completely customisable, so pack creators can add/remove however many sections they want, and tune each separately. Different words could be associated with different sections. There could be section-specific music and sounds.
Also, I think Videos should probably have the same section classifications as Images do (Soft, Medium etc).
And one bug I noticed with the voice-over disabled, the rest of the audio still goes quiet when the voice-over would usually play.
