Hey all,
I’ve cobbled together a fully local AI script for the Handy I’m calling StrokeGPT. No servers, no cloud, and whatever you’re into. It runs entirely on a moderate/low PC and supports:
-Real-time control based on live chat
-Custom personas
-ElevenLabs voice integration (broken right now).
-Full auto-mode where the Ai takes the reins and adapts strokes based on context and “arousal”. It’s cool AF lol.
The concept’s solid, and its actually pretty awesome it works, responds to what’s said, speeds up, teases, even finishes you off on its terms lol. Genuinely proud of the potential.
Buuuut… it’s a bit dense right now. Some things break. Auto-mode can get stuck, TTS barely works, and it loops its lines like it’s been concussed. Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s not gonna be a genius with the hardware I’m aiming for, but I’m definitely doing something wrong for a 7B model to be THIS dumb at points lol.
I’ve built out a full script for the AI, which is very user friendly and editable (without breaking everything) so bug-fixing and changing things should be simple-ish.
Not trying to sell anything. Once it’s stable, I’ll upload it free for everyone.
If anyone’s familiar with Python + Handy API + ElevenLabs, I would absolutely love a hand smoothing it out. I’d greatly appreciate you, but I can’t really offer anything other than a fun hobby project other people will be able to enjoy.
I feel like I should say, I’m NOT an LLM savvy guy, I just have a lot of free time and patience lol.
