Has anyone got both of these to compare? NS is like 2x the price, wondering if it’s worth it or not. Particularly curious about the quality of sensation for both scripted and unscripted usage.

I’ve only got the vacuglide. Max speed is fairly limited, the funscript to speed only conversion seems to break down at higher speeds. Motor wise I think it’s a little worse than tremblr (the crank arm only goes to 30mm vs 35mm max displacement), but it may also be quieter. In terms of sensation, well, it’s vacuum, and vacuum feels the best as far as I’m concerned. Speed wise I have no complaints other than its inability to keep up with funscripts, manual use with the web app is very convenient.
From what I understand nimblestroker is slower for full strokes (but I haven’t seen any real testing), but has actual position control. If I had the money, I’d go NS, but it’s a lot more money. From what I’ve heard the NS receivers are good, but a little heavy and awkward to set up for hands free use, but you can use any other receivers. I think the sleeve variety of NS is better, but they’re incompatible with other receivers due to the design. I’m also not the biggest fan of the connectivity kit stuff, obviously if you’re happy to code your own stuff it’s good, but there’s a lot to be said for the one button wifi connectivity of vacuglide (even if you are beholden to a web app forever).
Just FYI its not worse motor wise, we had a reason we limited the stroke to 30mm instead of 35. We launched VacuGlide 1 with 35mm displacement and found that under certain conditions, the user could, at the max stroke length and by maxing the vacuum level within the chamber, cause the sleeve to be sucked off of the end of the penis receiver. The solution to that would have been something as strong as a ziptie to attach the sleeve around the penis receiver’s edge to keep it from being sucked in under those conditions. It wasn’t OK with us from a usbility perspective to have a setting that would result in that happening, even if it would only be experienced by a small subset of users, so we artificially limited the displacement by changing the metal piece that allows you to set displacement by removing the ability to reach 35. All of our tests showed zero difference in sensation from making that decision plus at 35, its very difficult to use anyways because it would easily pop off.

Biggest thing with the NS is that it has an electromagnet motor driving a diaphragm which pushes the air in and out. VG’s motor drives an arm which moves the air cylinder. What this means is the NS has positional tracking. It can go to and from an exact spot. VG just reciprocates back and forth, can’t control the position. The biggest thing is that the NS can vibrate. Electromagnet motor can oscilate at high frequency like a vibrator.
NS is not a finished product though. Both in hardware and software. My control board fried a few times and I also had to patch air leaks. And the software is almost non-existent. Basically what the community hastily threw together.
But when you get it working, holy fuck, there is nothing like it. Strokes, sucks, and vibrates perfectly to a funscript.

If you guys ever make a V3 and make the motor an electromagnet motor so it has positional tracking and can vibrate, I wouldn’t be able to shove you my money fast enough. Especially if you guys can incorporate a sensor like the Edge-o-matic 3000 where it can detect if you’re about to blow and edge the shit out of you, then shut up and take my money.

We are working on it. We (at Autoblow who makes Vacuglide) also think nimblestroker is cool but on the software side it’s not really a finished consumer product, it’s more meant for the technical community. It has that positional stroking ability but it doesn’t come with the software to take advantage of the ability other than for manual control. We lack positional stroking ability but offer a large and growing free porn sync library, free ai girlfriends, autopilot etc (which all work). When you are engaged in porn sync with Vacuglide 2, whether or not the stroke matches exactly is honestly not top of mind.
Nimble stroker guy is cool also we met for lunch once as he lives not far from me.
