Hi i’m interested in the SR6. I’m currently a handy only user. Would the SR6 be difficult to setup with heresphere and an oculus while doing everything wirelessly? Also, are there any known issues that may arise long term that I should know about and plan for when it comes to maintenance/repairs?
For the SR6 I am currently doing some RnD to make it WiFi compatible. That being said you would always need the SR6 to be plugged into power at least. Set up is not a big hassle.
Question for you, what is your lead times on the SR6’s currently?

Other than installing some driver updates in windows the device is plug and play. I have not been able to sort out why some people OS automatically installs the needed drivers while other have to do it manually. But it is pretty simple to just go to windows update > advanced > optional updates > driver updates and grab all .netframework and any drivers available. Then restart the PC. Most of the time this is all you will need to do other than mounting thew device to your desk.
