SR6 from Mirabot jittering/shaking

Hi,

Earlier this year I bought a sr6 from mirabot and lately I’ve been noticing some issues with jittering/shaking, mostly when sway (L2) is in motion. It also makes a clattering sound.

Here is a video of it when just moving L2, sound is a bit low but you can here the clattering.

My first thought was that something was loose, so I checked all the screws/bolts and after that realigned the arms/horns.

When that didn’t seem to help I checked that all the arms were the same length and that the screws were even length on both sides.

Without actually knowing I feel like the arms somehow clash, maybe I missed something when while doing my previous steps but I just can’t figure it out.

Would really appreciate any help to fix it!

Dunno if you’ve done this already or not, but they do thankfully have a support ticket page. I’m not sure what could be going on, unfortunately, but wanted to give this link at least, if no one here has any answers https://mirabotx.com/support-request/

Appreciate the thought!

I sent a support request earlier, was hoping someone recognized the issue here so I could fix it on my own.

I got an answer after some back and forth with mira support, so if someone else has the same issue and finds this post I thought it worth sharing.

The issue seems to be a pitch servo, if I gently hold the pitch arm during movement the shaking gets noticeably reduced. According to mira it most likely is from wear and tear on the servo itself.
