Hello, one question. My SR6 kicked the bucket I think. It had a few jitteringissues under load for a bit now but worked perfectly other than that. During use today it seemed to get issues twice, shooting to the left side and hanging there, ignoring the input etc. Restarting it helped, but now when I plug it into the pc it gets recognized by windows, but it no longer gets into the default position. no movement of any motor. Could this be a motor finally completely breaking down, the board or what might be the problem? I ordered the sr6, so I´m not that well versed with crafting this stuff, but is this something I can repair or at least find out what failed here? Did someone have a similar issue before? None of the motors is stuck, they all seem to move normally when I move them by hand, no weird noises or anything.

It’s hard to say only from that description.
IF I had to guess, I would point to the electrical contact. Specifically the grounding and there specifically the part between the board and the motor power supply (usually some form of power bus). It sounds to me that over time it got degraded which makes it more and more difficult to interpret the PWM signals coming from the board. So that is what I would check first; visually and if you have a multi-meter with that.
Generally there may be only 5 classes of issues:
- broken hands (motors work but not rotate or rotate weakly and may be pushed back with force while powered)
- broken servos (motor is quiet)
- broken power (all motors are quiet)
- broken USB (motors try to move to a random position)
- broken board
All are fixable by simply replacing the broken piece after you found which piece it is

Thanks. Seems there´s no way around trial and error…need to take apart the whole thing and try to switch out parts and see if it helps in a way.
Is there some form of errorreadout of the board? Because as said, the device is recognized by windows, multifunplayer also can connect but nothing moves…
