The Edgy v2.0.0 is live: multi-device, multi-axis, multi-channel
Everything from the preview build (multiple devices, multiple channels, vibrator support) plus a remastered editor built around multi-channel behaviors.
Editor changes to know about: variations are now edited for all channels at once. Some parameters are shared (probability, speed, loops…), others stay per-channel (the shape of each channel). Hold is no longer per-channel inside a variation, hold curves now drive a shared tempo across channels instead. If you built complex customs, give the new editor a look.
Also in this drop:
Audio playback (mp3/ogg/wav) with funscript sync, same as video
Loop mode to restart a video/audio at the end without stopping the session
Fixed a Bluetooth flood that was making some toys drop their connection
Fixed video freeze near the end and seek desync on the Handy
Docs are rewriten too: the help page now walks through the full multi-device / binding / per-device settings flow.
As always, feedback and bug reports welcome, this thread drives a lot of what ships.
A few minor tweaks and fixes should land over the next few days.
Have fun.
Hi there, I think the 1% option should be possible ^^
Stash integration is something else , rn I don’t know how it could be possible to include some third-party soft inside it. I thin the only solution is to build a plugin from scratch for stash support. Out of bounds for now
That’s interesting, I think you can already handle this kind of feeling for now with behaviors like “Player” or “Intense”, they contain variations with heavy stimulation that can be triggered at a high arousal level.
I’m thinking about a game mode that could produce some stochastic reaction on the arousal level, somewhat what you’re describing.
The “frequency” is the hard part cause it is really dependent on people, moods or other feelings. for my part I’m able to edge a dozen of times, other days I can stay at the very top edge limit for a really long time, but there is sessions where it will very hard for me to reach a single edge or even to stay hard
I have some experience building Stash plugins and yea it would probably have to be a plugin or integrated into something like Stash-TCode, or maybe you could use the Stash GraphQL endpoint… lots of options to explore
I think I might add that functionality into Stash T-Code sometime, just the mouse scroll —> controls script amplitude thing, not recreating The Edgy
Hey Glavious, thank you so much for all of your work on this, it really is the best.
I noticed the “add multiple devices” update and wanted to share some input. Good stuff, as I do have multiple devices.
However, I wish the “stroke range” controls for the current device were always visible, like they used to be, and displayed at all times on this interface:
As it is now, I have to constantly open this secondary panel to adjust the range, because it helps me maintain far better control while using my various custom behaviors. And I mean, CONSTANTLY haha
To be honest my heart actually sank when I first noticed the update because I immediately realized how much it was gonna mess with my flow, but it ain’t the end of the world. I’m glad that it is accessible via one click to open that panel rather than more at least.
Thanks for letting me share. Again, this thing is the best! Without it, my Handy’s would be super meh.
I’m curious about your workflow. You mentioned that the stroke range gives you better control, but are you also using the arousal level, or just the stroke range?
Would you find it useful to have an option that lets the arousal meter influence the stroke range?
For Funscript, ARR reduces stimulation by decreasing the stroke range based on the average position of the points. It might also be interesting to add an option that lets it reduce the stroke range from either the top or the bottom instead.
Also, keeping the range slider permanently visible doesn’t feel ideal, especially if you want to use full-screen mode, so I’m still thinking about the best way to handle that.
