My Handy 2 Pro built in mounting holes were incredibly weak. Impossible to tighten without breaking the mounting holes. I have another Handy 2 Pro device on the way now (shoutout Handy support), but from others I’ve heard that the mounting holes didn’t receive any improvements.
I therefore want a hands free cup that fits the handy 2 pro, but with a 5/8" screw that goes onto my hands free stand. How do I go about designing this to get it 3d printed?
You may have a defective unit.
My mounting holes are definitely not weak. It’s possible yours was a bad batch of thread that didn’t get proper tempering.

Is there any way of knowing this though? Because the mounting holes just go around, and they are loose, but it’s impossible to get it off the mount without breaking off the adapters in my case (adapter going from 5/8" thread on my mic arm, to 1/4" on the handy). So I really want a backup solution just in case.
