How do you put everything back together? mine fell apart and i cant re-assemble it properly

Well, my cup broke today, I’ve glued it with a plastic repair glue but I don’t think it will hold for long, I’ll check it tomorrow.
Just in case I ordered from Amazon what Saltyone ordered.

I just taped mine to the Handy which held pretty well lol. The ring and bottle holder Saltyone advised never broke though. Hoping it never breaks for you too.

It is so suprising to see a product encounter so much different problems.
For me my problem is localise on the C-shape clamp ( the screwing hole ( sorry bad english ) has worned out so it doesn’t screw anymore ) second time that happens to me in 3 months 
I’m just screwing the damn thing it is just poorly engineered…
Thanks for sharing all those alternate solutions I’m gonna look into that but I hope I’ll get a refund from Handy.

Yeah that happened to me 2 or 3 times too. The screw thread basically just peeled off like it’s made of really soft metal. The first time I thought it was because I screwed it too tight, but then it happened twice more lol.

I just want to add that I’ve been very easily refunded on the product, after one exchange obtained very easily
The product sucks but the client service is perfect.

Hi, I’ve considering getting a desk mount for the hands free experience, but I noticed that everyone has wooden table and I have a glass one. Is there a setup that accommodates for glass desks?
Honestly if you have a glass table and even if someone had a setup, I wouldn’t recommend clamping anything to it. Its glass. Glass is sturdier than a particle board tabletop from ikea but if a particle board cracks its in one place; if the glass cracks, its all gone.
edit: if youre going to clamp anything, it should be metal or wood and it has to be sturdy enough to absorb the movement that the mount is trying to hold.

Well that’s a damper. I do have a repurposed bedside table that is wooden. I may have the put on the clamp sideways, which I wonder if that is safe. I don’t think there is a spot to clamp onto like a normal desk, unless I do the bottom of the cubby it has. It seems otherwise fairly sturdy enough.
Like some people suggest using wood blocks to spread out the force of the clamp for a glass desk but the thing is one too many turns on the clamp means the whole thing goes.
Clamping it sideways might work but it will possibly slip due to the direction of the forces while in motion. A clamp on a table is on the topside and underside so when the motions go up and down there’s nowhere for it to move, but if you shimmy it side to side, you could slide it off.
This is something to take note of cause if the Handy is going really fast the last thing you want is for it to be on your appendage and for the clamp to slip.
I think other people have managed mounts(not the exact official handy mount but diy’d solutions) to their chairs, side tables, and what not. Main things are make sure the mount is stable, as well as the base and test it at the max speed you’ll use it at w/o being in it.
Anyone how to set this thing up? I tried using it a few times and I’m still confused. Which way do you seat it as well as angle it?
I exactly have the same problem. In my first try with the handy desk mount it works perfect but one of the holes of the clamper was getting shaved of by the screw. I try to use with some gym weights on it to hold the clamp on my desk but it doesn´t warks at all. Tired of that I contacted with The handy and they replace my stuff for another for free…but it happens again…the 2 holes is gatting shaved off agian by the screw; so I´m looking for another desk mount on Amazon that can works to handle The handy and it can´t broke again.
I was reading this happens This happens because the hole is made of aluminum and wears down with vibration. The hole should be made of metal or iron to prevent wear. Does anyone have any recommendations? I think I will try NEEWER Heavy Duty C Clamp

Tbh, I read this thread and still bought it…
My experience: the threads in the clamp were eaten after just two uses. On the third try the Magic Hand simply couldn’t screw in anymore. I ended up cutting the rubber part and using a nut on the other side to tighten it. It kind of works.
After I applied graphite lubricant to the threads, I overtightened the clamp and bent it. That one’s on me 
On a more serious note, the Handy 2 is missing a locking pin on the body, so it tends to unscrew itself from the arm if it’s mounted at an angle rather than at 90°. To keep it angled you have to overtighten it a lot, which puts too much stress on the threads. Maybe I’ll mod my H2 someday and add a hole for an anti-twist pin
Back to the topic: the desk clamp is bad. Don’t buy it until Ohdoki updates the design.
I’ve already ordered a 32" overhead arm rated for 3 kg to try a “bed mount” setup. I’ll post an update once I test it.

Using the Backscrew in Normal mode!
- Quality -theres none! everything breaks!!!
- Setup -tighten the arms via Handle, Screw in the device via turning the whole arms or the device (doesnt work properly with lose arms and dont try to use the screws itself you wont get it tight enough for it not to fall to the (left side and unscrew it self and also dislocating the whole positioning),mount it somewhere nearby (dont use the Screw ull be unscrewing it on the other side) turn the whole thing around (yep looks stupid but holds best), loosen the arms via Handle, adjust position, tighten arms via Handle… such a hussle its poorly Designed.. if you can call it that… you can leave the Arms and Mounting “claw/Mouth” attached so you dont have to turn the whole thing but then u have to install the Device via turning the Device it self. This whole thing is meant to be Permanent.If you unscrew any part the whole positioning is off.
Since the arms are short it doesnt justify permanently installing also i woudnt like the Device to be collecting Dust or anything while not using it.
For the breaking
- The Handle which I use with my 2 Fingers broke off a part inside that pushes 2 Washers with little balls on them now not fully pushing them (replaced with more washers)
- Screw lost/broke off its Threads from same Handle (one could say it was damaged before I noticed the Handles inside pusher that broke and that i had to tighten it much more but the next part says Quality issue also the Metal parts were still inside and were somewhat pushing against the Washers) (Replaced the Screw with a longer one and got a new Wingnut that goes trough the screw)
- The Threads on the Device tightening Screw also broke off so that the Device cant be tightened at all. (Cant be replaced, one of those Ball to Screw things) (Has to be Quality im not Hulk)
- The little Antislipping Pad thats glued on came off the Second use (Another Quality issue) i just put it inbetween still holds but the Mount has no use at all anyway anymore.

Ofc it broke when wanting to use it so I was OK with that… but it just sucks so much more…
Trying to find a new DIY Solution the Threads on the Device are super Fine (thanks to the low Quality Screws that broke before it could damage it, maybe thats the reason)
