TheHandy: "The Elite Bundle: Accessories" Sleeves "Mini-Review"

In this post I want to give a little mini-review/ranking of The Elite Bundle: Accessories that I received as a prize (more below)

I just want to give some background as to why, and how I am able to write this review. Feel free to skip if you don’t care lol.

Recently, I’ve been given the gracious opportunity to participate in the community tournament known as the Script Game which you can check out by clicking the image below.

In this event, I was lucky enough to get to the last four remaining scripters, and was allowed to recieve one prize from the last remaining player (Winner) if they chose to share the prizes with the others. With this, I was given the option of a handful of TheHandy bundles from the store, which I used to choose The Elite Bundle: Accessories I was slightly encouraged to review the sleeves, so I thought I’d give it a shot! So this is my first review, so please be gentle, and leave any feedback you might have, and feel free to ask any questions!

And without further ado…

PACKAGING

This thing was packed tight, absolutely NO wasted space within the package it came in, but still a fine cushion of bubble wrap to protect the whole thing. Seeing this already assured me there was no way any errors could be made during shipment, and I had not to worry about any damages. Opening the package reveals the contents as seen above.

Immediately you can see the visually pleasing sleek packaging, with prints of the corresponding sleeves on the front of the boxes, with details highlighting the inside of the sleeves and their textures, so you know what to expect. This alone should get you excited to choose one you’re most curious about and rip it open to try it out as soon as you can.

Now, I didn’t notice this until I started to open these up, but there’s two different boxes here. The Dream Collection, and the standard sleeves. The packaging even though it looks similar, they open completely differently. While the standard sleeves open like you’d expect any other box to, The Dream Collection has a zipper-like pre-cutout tab to tear downwards to open the box. I tried this but it was strange to open and couldn’t quiet get it (probably user error). In the end I just tried to open it from the top, but that was glued with a way stronger glue than the standard sleeve packaging, and I ended up tearing up all of The Dream Collection boxes. If you’d like to keep the boxes for maybe storage purposes, you might have a harder time with The Dream Collection boxes.

THE "CAPSULES"

A pretty sweet capsule container holding the sleeve for you. I was kind of surprised these were in here, because I didn’t expect them at all. And the more I think about them the more I realize how useful, and how much I appreciate these being included.

Obviously these are meant to hold the sleeve, (duh) so you can completely ditch the previous boxes unless you just like the designs and hoard boxes like me. Plus, the bottoms of these capsule are labeled with the sleeve they came with so you know which is which. (Thank you Handy team) These capsules are made of plastic as far as I can tell, so no need to worry about them breaking down over time or getting dirty, they should serve you forever. So as soon as your session is over and you finish cleaning your sleeves, you can just dry it off and slap it back in here. And because of the simplistic and inconspicuous design, you shouldn’t have to worry too much if its seen.

The bottoms are flat so you can stand them up wherever you want, and the capsule itself is on the smaller size so you can confidently squeeze it into a small spot if you REALLY need to hide it from maybe roommates or family. The tops have a hole that open up to the inside, which I assume is for airflow, as to make sure left over bacteria or bad smells don’t build up once you close it and leave it for a while.(That’s my guess anyways)

Other than that, there’s not much else to say about these, they have their simple yet extremely useful design, and nothing can really go wrong with just having them

Now, six sleeves is a lot to rate and review all at once. SOOO I’m gonna make this a pretty plain and simple rating.

Feel (Simply how good it feels, and how the sleeve defers from others)
Practicality (How easy it is to strap in, lube up, and stay in the action)
Lube (How fast the toy dries out/how much lube might be required)

This is my first experience with an open ended sleeve, and it’s definitely not gonna be the last. What happens with these open ended sleeves, is you lose the “suction” feeling you’d normally have with a standard closed sleeve. Which normally I thought “why wouldn’t I want that suction feeling” but I was totally naive. That feeling of your head first going into a sleeve, is arguably one of the best feelings, but this sleeve does it both ways, so it feels like DOUBLE the pleasure. Since you go in once, keep going, and come out the other, then it goes back, so you get pulled BACK into the sleeve, which feels like putting it in again, and you come out the entrance, and do it all over again.

The firmness on this sleeve probably is the hardest out of all TheHandy sleeves offered on their store, which I actually liked a lot. It definitely removes some of that “mush” feeling of when a bunch of different bumps all hit at the same time, and you can’t tell what feeling is what, so its all just one big feeling. Because of this firmness you can really tell what you’re feeling and everything is a lot more defined.

The little edges that line this sleeve go all the way from the entrance to the exit, and the whole way through and back it is hitting your glans corona the ENTIRE TIME. Personally this is the best spot to stimulate with a sleeve, because slow or fast, it feels amazing. You literally can’t go wrong with this approach. And the firmness of the sleeve makes it so it really hits those parts without just giving room for the glans to slide over it and feel next to nothing.

Practicality []

The first thing that I’m sure sticks out to people, is the low rating on Practicality, however please don’t assume that means terrible, because the toy is far from terrible in terms of practicality, but it just means it’s not perfect, and the issues that are there, are slightly annoying. Let me explain:

This sleeve in particular, is an open end design, which adds some challenges for an auto-stroker. Strapping in is harder because your “little buddy” is coming out the other side, so you end up hitting the strap with your head, and you can’t pull the sleeve upwards to align it because there’s nothing to grab. So getting lotion on yourself is gonna be a common place for this sleeve.

A bigger issue, is climax. Whenever you’re climaxing, if nothing is covering your head, IT WILL spray out and cover whatever is nearby, including yourself and your auto-stroker. Of course you can stop this by just covering up last second, or releasing elsewhere, which if you are using an auto-stroker, you can already guess, is somewhat difficult. However you can also argue this is a good thing for cleanup, since you have the more annoying thing to clean up absent whenever you go to clean this sleeve.

Buuuuut the open end design also gives you the chance to re-lube (which you shouldn’t have to do much of with this sleeve) from the top. AAANND, having a hole in the top adds a whole new feeling which I covered in the feel section of this review.

Lube []

There’s not much I can say about this, because it works perfectly 100% of the time, and the open end design lets you apply lube without EVER having the need to un-strap, or pull out.

The sleeve, despite being open ended does not dry out because of the air from the outside, and it does NOT spill lube being pushed out to the top like I expected it to at all. Maybe its because of the open design, that there’s no air pressure being lost or built up like a standard sleeve that would normally displace the lube due to the pressure being in other areas. Too much pressure on the inside of the sleeve tends to push the lotion OUT. While creating a vacuum within the sleeve pulls lotion to the TOP, which takes lotion from the base and makes it dry everywhere except the glans area.

So in terms of lubrication, the base idea of an open sleeve, I think might just be superior in comparison to traditional close ended sleeves.

The “GEN 2”

The GEN 1 aka, ( The Extra TrueGrip™ Sleeve) has been my most used sleeve EASILY, It doesn’t do anything special, but that’s what made it such an obvious choice to me, who finds everything a pain to do when using an auto-stroker. It was no non-sense, strap in, enjoy. And the GEN 2 is just a direct upgrade to that.

The Feel factor of this sleeve is nothing special, no bells and whistles, no incredible suction, no textures that hit harder than others. It’s an all rounder solid sleeve. It has a thinner wall compared to the other sleeves, which DOES give it a way snugger fit once it starts to loose air on the inside of the sleeve, and starts to form a vacuum, which is a huge plus.

The textures on the inside, are arguably too much. There’s so many different things going on, on the inside that nothing sticks out, and it sort of just becomes this “mushy” feeling since no particular feeling is defined. That being said, the practicality of this, is massive.

Practicality []

Due to the “It gets the job done” nature of this sleeve, its perfect for people like me who don’t want to think about all kinds when strapping into my auto-stroker. “I JUST WANNA JERK OFF” If you’re thinking this, this is the perfect sleeve.

Strapping into this is extremely easy. It hardly becomes undone especially if you’re using a good strap, with a good strap setup. Thanks to the lips the sleeves have on the outside, this one included, it doesn’t allow the sleeve to slip past those lips once strapped in, and they also serve as a decent guideline as to where you should be attaching the straps.

The only bad thing I can say about this, is once the sleeve creates a vacuum, and is snugly hugging your “little buddy” the sleeve can become loose if you didn’t tighten it enough. So be sure to really tighten it while keeping this in mind.

Cleaning is also as easy as running it under some water, adding soap, rub in the soap, rinse, dry, and done. No complications what so ever and should only take about a minute. As easy as washing your own hands.

Lube []

The only reason this isn’t three star, is because the open ended designs of the other sleeves are just SO SUPERIOR when it comes to lube.

This sleeve has the normal issues of any other sleeve drying out, but definitely because of the excessive edges and grooves of this sleeve, it does dry out a bit less compared to others.

Due to the snugger fit, and vacuum created, more viscous lubes have a harder time staying wet and slippy. I don’t know the science behind it, but this has been my personal experience. So a less viscous lube is recommended if you have a choice. (This is my personal recommendation)

The “PEARL”

This one flat out surprised me, the texture on the inside did not look like anything special, and I thought it was gonna be overwhelming and undefined. But maybe because its just one shape spread across, it doesn’t feel that way. It’s also another open ended design, so you have the amazing feeling of coming out and back in both ways. And overall the design seems to aim to please the glans corona, with some extra small bumps on the outside of the top hole.

It’s harder to give this a better Feel score, because it’s easily beat out by some of the others. It does suffer a tiny bit from the “mush” feeling without defined feelings, but not enough to rule it out completely. But it makes up for that in the thickness of the sleeve, and the open end.

Practicality []

This also suffers from the same issues as the other open ended designs ("Climaxing out the open end, and getting things outside the sleeve covered, and strapping in getting lube on yourself because you can’t pull it up into the strap.) Just to a slightly less extreme degree compared to the “Coral” and “Touch” thanks to the length of this sleeve. But it still does retain all of the lotion WITHIN the sleeve.

Again, open end design superiority. No leaks, no drying out from the outside, and pressure distribution within the sleeve is not a problem. Being able to re-lube from the top without unstrapping yourself and having to set yourself back up is a life saver in the moment.

However with this sleeve, I had an issue with applying lube, and it coming out the other side WHILE applying it. But this is completely avoidable if you learn from your mistakes the first time. It’s not worth taking a star away for, but it is something to look out for if you’re not a fan of getting lotion on yourself.

The “LIPS”

Ok, sorry but I LOVE this sleeve. I can’t even explain WHY this thing feels so good. Maybe it’s the air pocket at the top? Maybe its the layered entrance? Maybe its just the tightness this sleeve simulates while being a thicker toy. Probably all of that.

First, and probably the best part, is the air chamber at the top of this sleeve. This thing SUCKS(In a good way.) HARD. Like I mean you can stop moving in this, and it still feels like its trying to suck you in. You can physically see it creating a vacuum while your using it. And on top of that, before the air chamber at the top, is this really tight squeeze you have to push through to get into the air chamber, but once you do, it feels HEAVENLY!

The textures on the way there are amazing as well, it’s a tight squeeze almost the entire way till you reach the even tighter squeeze. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to mimic a tongue, but it definitely seems that way. Even if you’re not twisting the sleeve, it feels like it is. And the entrance having an extra layer is just the chefs kiss. I cannot recommend this enough.

Practicality []

This sleeve probably rivals the GEN 2 in terms of practicality. There’s absolutely nothing that can go wrong with this one. Just get ready, lube up, insert, strap in, and your good to go. No fiddling with the straps, no having to pull the sleeve up so you can strap in to the correct positions. Perfection.

If I HAD to give a complaint, it would just be pushing out the air from the sleeve pre-emptively, so you can get the full vacuum experience, but that’s not a huge issue at all.

Lube []

I hate to do this, because I want to give it a perfect score, but again, it loses to open ended designs.

Unfortunately, it does suffer a tiny bit from drying out, but it does take a while, this is probably due to the insane vacuum. But it’s not terrible at all, and completely manageable. And lotion can get caught on some of the little air pockets in this sleeve, but a little push should solve that no issue.

The “LOTUS”

I’m sorry, I know this is the 3rd most reviewed sleeve on TheHandy store, with a 4 star rating. But I do not like this sleeve at all. I don’t want to put it on the same level as the GEN 2 because the GEN 2 is a lot better compared to this.

This sleeve feels like nothing. There’s little to no texture on the inside of the sleeve, and the most stimulation you get is the entrance and the little bulb like area at the top. The sleeve is thankfully a thicker build, so you do feel some of that pressure, but that’s about it. Maybe it’s an acquired taste that I don’t have, and some people might absolutely love it, but it’s just not for me.

Practicality []

This is built very similar to the other close ended sleeves, which makes it very easy to strap in and sit back. It requires little to no setup, and cleaning is as easy as washing your hands. Not much to say about this. TheHandy team has really perfected this, especially with the lips on the outside to secure and guide where to put the straps.

Lube []

I could NOT get this thing to move without dumping a bunch of lube in, which dried out within what felt like one minute. I’m not sure why this is, but all of the lube just comes spilling out the entrance onto the user.

Thanks to the lack of texture, I really had a hard time telling when I wasn’t slipping in and out anymore, until it really started to tug and push, and I could see it physically coming out of the strap because of how much it wasn’t letting go.

I tried both, a more viscous, and less viscous lube, and neither was enough to help with this. It is worth mentioning the more viscous DID help a slight amount, which is let me test the feeling in the first place, but not for long.

The “TOUCH”

Say hello to the glans pleaser 9000. This sleeve exists to stimulate your glans, and corona as much as possible.

As you can see in the picture above, the texture inside is just ribbed from entrance to exit. But something that’s harder to see, is the top of this sleeve has five little prongs that stick out to the center, so as you hit every single ribbed edge on the way up, and you finally push out the other end, the five prongs follow the shape of your head all the way up. And back down till your head falls back into the sleeve, and hits every ribbed edge, hitting the underside of your glans corona. (the best part imo) Trust me, this sleeve hits the best parts, and does it amazingly.

This sleeve also has a thicker outing, so you feel a bit more softness and pressure from the strap holding it in place. It’s hard to hold back with this one.

Practicality []

OPEN. ENDED. DESIGN.

I did find this one, compared to the other open ended designs, to leak a tiny bit of lotion out the end likely due to the five prongs. Not enough to call a problem, since with these designs, you’re probably already covering the end of this sleeve with a towel as to not accidentally “release” over everything outside of the sleeve.

Strapping in is a little difficult because you can’t pull the sleeve up into the straps, since getting into position to do so, pushes the sleeve down because the strap is in the way. Which again, causes you to get lotion on your hands to force it though, or you “member” ends up rubbing against the strap, (which does not feel good btw.)

But like the other open ended designs, re-applying lube is as easy as just dropping a little bit at the top without any need to unstrap or stop.

Absolutely ZERO issues, other than accidentally pouring lube out the other side, which is completely avoidable.

This sleeve hardly dries out, and even if it did in maybe longer sessions, or you didn’t put enough in, you can easily just add more through the top after strapping in.

Thanks to the ribbed edges on the inside, they hold, and even stop lube from free flowing and just spilling out.

The “TrueGrip PRO Band”

Obviously, this isn’t a sleeve, but it comes with the bundle and is a lifesaver. It would be rude to not mention this.

I love this sleeve. I’ve tried others, but they end up being too long, and I can’t strap in with smaller sleeves like TheHandy’s. The grip on this sleeve is fantastic, even though it’s just some rubber strips, it helps slippage so much. Strapping things down super tight, just isn’t enough a lot of the time, and I see these grips as a necessity. It’s the perfect length to strap in smaller sleeves like TheHandy’s and even other sleeves from other brands. Once a sleeve is too long, it wraps around smaller sleeves and has no room to stick the Velcro together.

Some bad things about this strap are prevalent. The shortness doesn’t allow bigger 3rd party sleeves, but if you’re using TheHandy, it can’t handle heavier sleeves anyways so there’s no point. And the method of adding this strap to TheHandy is not written down anywhere, so I had to look up some manuals to figure it out. (I know this is my fault, and totally user error. But that doesn’t mean other people won’t run into the same issue.)

Longevity wise, this strap lasts a long long long time. BUT, eventually the rubber strips do fall off, since they’re only secured on by some glue, and being a little rough with it might speed up the process of their eventual break down.

Overall, I’d buy this strap over and over, because I have yet to find better. I do wish they made a slightly longer strap just for other sleeves, but this strap is MADE for TheHandy and their sleeves, so it’s completely understandable why they wouldn’t make one.

OVERALL TAKEAWAY

For what is being charged for this bundle, it’s totally worth it. You’re getting six solid sleeves with a arrange of different concepts and feelings, that you can switch out whenever. PLUS the TrueGrip Pro Band, which is fitted and made to hold the six sleeves, and the other sleeves TheHandy store sells. Personally, I would buy the specific sleeves I took a liking to from this bundle separately, but without receiving this bundle, I wouldn’t have gotten to try the sleeves in the first place. Hopefully the person reading this can get an idea of which sleeve(s) they would probably buy, so they don’t have to spend the hefty price for the entire bundle.

I did test these with BOTH TheHandy, and a FUNSR1 2.0, and without a doubt, these sleeves feel a lot better on TheHandy than they do the FUNSR1 2.0. This could just be a personal preference as to which device I enjoy more, but it definitely feels like these sleeves are made for TheHandy, and manual play. They still work with the FUNSR1 2.0, and still feel fantastic, and I think these reviews reflect both experiences, so either device, feels as reviewed. (To me at least)

I did test these with a water based lube. Which is of course always recommended. And I tried all six with both a extremely viscous, and almost zero viscosity lube.

This review did take a couple sessions, as reviewing six takes a while to fully compare and get solid takes from. And every time, I used all six, which normally would be a huge pain in the ass to clean up. But like I said in this review, the sleeves are so easy to clean its like washing your hands. I know its not encouraged, but you can easily turn these sleeves inside out to really get in there.

Anyways, I’m going to continue using these sleeves till they break down. I even bought some onaholes while in Japan, and tried using those, but the sleeves are just so much easier, convenient, and feel great.

CONCLUSION

Thank you for taking the time to read this review, and I really hope it helped you come to a decision you were looking for. Again, this is my first review on anything ever, I had no idea how to formant these, or the steps required. So I took a lot of inspiration from others in this thread. Especially Slibowitz (Thank you)
