I just tried 10 different belt mounts and all are “awaiting moderation” on thingiverse and can’t be accessed. Does anyone have backups of any of the belt holders found in this Yeggi search:
Would HUGELY appreciate it as who knows if or when thingiverse will ever bring these STLs back!
I’m particularly interested in one like this https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5227378 where the belt is offset vertically from the handy to provide some torque resistance from the handy flopping up and down.
What a reminder to always keep local backups of STLs as they could be banned at any time =P.

I stopped trusting thingiverse a long time ago for another reason. Just upload them to cults3d, who does not care if the stl is adult or not (you need to log in to see adult stuff, but yeah)

If they have more than 1 million users in UK, the UK believe they have the power to purge whatever they don’t like, cause’ the children… It is called international overreach.

Hi guys, I think all my files there were flagged as they were not there. That’s fair and true as I replaced all files with infamous cubes with an explainer that I moved files/prints to cults3d for digital files and etsy for physical prints.
I guess folks got frustrated with downloading cubes and did not read the explainer and clicked to report on every file. The files are not banned as such - Just not visible to all. I will test out thingiverse when i get a chance - maybe when i share a new useful freebie it will allow the profile to be visible again and that contains the explainer.
As for the hand version of the holder, it was an old design that i progressed to the hands3 - the newest and best bits are in cults3d and etsy and I can add more as requested.
The hand version that functionally worked to give a hand with the handy was cool and novelty-like. It could hold a can of a drink or other pocket bits keys, cards and coins and be a bit of a decoy so could be left in place with a say a magic arm mount or on a table as a like an artsy paper weight. Thes more info in the handy discord. I could revise and bring it back to cults and etsy if this was wanted again. Extra choice can be handy I guess - So I might just do it anyhow.
