I bought an SR6 from your hobbies customized and as a title state, I need help troubleshooting my SR6. I have flashed binary multiple times and the unit does not respond. XTP shows the unit is connected, but the arms do not respond and I know they typically should at least stiffen up. What else should I look into?
Hi cloudviiv,
Sounds frustrating… I would suggest contacting the seller in terms of troubleshooting but let me see if I can be of assistance.
From what I understand there is no reaction from your device after has both USB-C and power/ switched on – Nothing responds and each arm can be manually moved as if there is no power/signal being received to your unit.
If this is the case then we can assume there is a issue at a ‘choke’ point instead of a singular PCB path/servo. I would suggest looking at both the + and - of your internals wirings. Look for the ground that connects the ESP32 to your servo - terminal grounding, make sure that is connected properly. In addition look at your units positives/negatives for the servos power terminals.
Essentially the issue here is most likely the wiring. If you have some images of the insides I can help you identify those issues without guessing. Hopefully you can get your SR6 working as soon as possible
Thank you.
Thanks I’ll look into the grounding and possibly upload pics if needed. Hopefully it isn’t anything severe.
No problem, if your unsure about anything just send some pics just to be safe. Will try to respond as soon as I can.
