Vacuglide2 <-> EDI (Easy Device Integration) python bridge WIP

Hello this is my first take on this. I have no clue what im doing and this is completely untested and unqualified code! Use with caution. The movements are super janky and it needs refinement. But it works it establishes a connection to EDI and the Vacuglide respondes and interpretes scripts.

To use it you need to install python3

  • right click the script and edit.
  • enter your Vacuglide2 Token
  • start your Vacuglide2 and connect it to Wifi
  • open a cmd window
    $ cd C:/downloads/ #or your directory of choice where edi.py is located in
    $ py edi.py
  • open EDI
  • device should be recognised

There is currently an ongoing pull request to merge my script into the main repository of DeluxMel

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! THIS CODE WAS FORKED FROM DELUXMEL I HAVE NO INTEND TO STEAL CODE AND I WILL DELETE / TAKEDOWN ANY CODE THAT DELUXMEL MAY DEMAND.

Could you also please add the VacuGlide2 as a Device-Tag I could not add it as such. Thank you :slight_smile:
