Where are you trying to use the funscript tokens?
Cause those more or less have to be used on the website since those aren’t actually funscripts. AFAIK They more or less just point the device to a server where the funscript is, to download to theHandy while the video is playing.
on heresphere cause the actual site for vrbangers is through playa and half the scripts that are downloadable on ivdb arent on the actual site player itself, its actually kinda dogshit and the ones through vrbangers or vrconk on that playa app are mostly AI scripts
Are you playing the vids off of a download also?
yes i download them directly off vrbangers as they dont have a working api on heresphere
i was wondering this as well, i recently got a VRSpy month sub to get some of the handcrafted scripts and noticed some scripted but not listed here on ES, downloaded some and then same story as OP. running the video with a matching-name funscript loaded into Heresphere with no results.
Ive also tried through ivdb using the Handy chrome extension, and while the 2d scripts work through xhamster and pornhub, loading into VRSpy through ivdb gives me an error on the handy extension. ive tried this with and without Virtual Desktop+Heresphere.
this is a strange way to provide scripts compared to the usual downloading we have on ES. If there happens to be a Handy or IVDB (same team?) member reading this, is there a reasoning behind it i’m not seeing besides pushing dependence to a specific service? since the actual script file exists somewhere, making it available for offline use just helps everyone. I’ve personally made a few life changes recently to be more offline/blackout-ready (movies, tv, books, games, scripts stored locally, etc.) and making the 13000+ scripts available would be a great move.

So there seemed to be an issue with handy tokens, the dev posted about it on their discord. Should be working now they say.

Yes thank you they do work now, I do wish that vrbangers could actually play those scripts natively through their playa service since only a handful do and they are all AI ones compared to the ones listed on IVDB. I tried to use the IVDB extension with the scripts to their browser but sadly it didn’t seem to work. At least i can download the video and the script anyway.
i remember on their discord a while back they said the extension doesnt work with VR players so its probably why it doesn’t work the same way compared to xhamster or pornhub.

Make sure the name of the funscript exactly matches the MP4 file: “myscene.mp4” & “myscene.funscript”.
Then check that the MP4 has the “Title” property set to the same as the file name (without the extension).
Then check what you are using to view it: I find the DEOVR doesn’t work at all, and HereSphere works fine provided the funscript and MP4 are in the same folder.
I use HereSphere to access the folder from my NAS via SMB because DLNA from PLEX doesn’t include the funscript data at all.
