I’ve switched over to using this ever since the old.handyfeeling website went down.
It’s been cool to load scripts and have them auto play (although I only know how to add them 1 by one. not sure if there’s a faster way).
I have ran into the issue when there are times when the scripts go way out of sync, and I have to go through Settings → Timings → and adjust script delay to be either 200-600ms.
Am I using this software correctly? Should I be skipping in the script (i see this tends to ruin it at times), are there better alternative softwares?
I just want something that can play scripts locally, not have major delays, i can skip through, and possibly auto play scripts too.
*I connect directly to the handy 1 through wifi too. I didn’t seem to have an issue with old.handyverse, but I refuse to use the newer website since I would have to update my handy, and last time i did that, it performed worse.
I would recommend using an external video player (like MPC-HC) and using its navigation and/or playlist features.
You can use the - and + buttons on your keyboard to nudge script delay. But it shouldn’t be necessary. On my hardware, I play without adjusting script delay when using MPC-HC but with negative script delay when watching 180VR videos using VLC.
So i use mpc as an external video player, but what syncs the scripts to the video and plays it on my device?
I only found out about script player from this helpful topic.
