What happens if in the future the rules as a result prohibit publishing scripts made for content that that while made by said artists doesn’t have a version that fits their rules?
e.g Watermarked video is 5 minutes long but the full length video version is not watermarked.
Are we then banned from making a script and sharing it on that video version?
Also what about cases where the video quality is the only difference or clothing specific video versions? Is it okay to upscale a video then so…
Which has ended up getting this response:
The intention is to respects artists publishing standards for their media.
This has nothing to do with previews, scripts, or anything else that is standard.
I can flesh out the wording to make it more clear.
So I’m waiting on better wording though I doubt it will solve my concerns with this currently.
I also still question why this rule is being implemented now since I thought that scripters usually do credit the video makers?
