Best toy for local HeresphereVR use?

I was looking at getting the handy 2 to use it with local videos in heresphere. But I saw that it does not have Bluetooth support and instead uses WiFi. I have fast and stable WiFi, but I’m still worried about the latency others have mentioned.

I saw that the Kiiro Keon has Bluetooth support, but I’m not sure how that compares? I was also planning to use it with my fleshlight, which I heard being better on the Keon.

If there are any others I should look at please let me know.

Small correction - the Handy 2 can use Wifi or Bluetooth. Wifi supports faster commands, so it is preferred.

HereSphere doesn’t directly support Bluetooth control of the Handy though. You can get there with a PC running this: GitHub - FredTungsten/ScriptPlayer: ScriptPlayer is a video player that controls the Handy and lots of other toys in sync with videos. · GitHub

I haven’t set it up in years myself though, so I don’t recall the steps. The TODO section of EroScripts has some tutorials that should help.

Not sure if you mean the Kiiro Keon 1 or 2. The original is really heavy though. The experience is awful compared to a hands-free Handy 2 Pro.

I’ve been using the Keon for a long time. I went that route because I already had several Fleshlight sleeves. (The Keon can be used with Fleshlight sleeves. You have to use one of the Keon cases, and you have to remove the cap at the end of the case to make it fit correctly. But it does work.)

The upside to the Keon is that it works well with HereSphere for local files (I use XBVR for my home media server), with the Play’A app (VRBangers, VRConk, and Dezyred), and with DeoVR (SexLikeReal). The downside is that several sites support the Handy but not the Keon (POVR, NaughtyAmerica, and others.) I have often wondered whether I would have been happier with the Handy. (With that being said, I plan to buy the Keon 2 when it comes out but have no plans to buy the Handy. However, that is mainly because I know the Handy and that it works well for me.)

I suggest considering how much you want to balance the setup experience against the use experience. If you want the setup to be easy and quick so you can get to the fun part, I suspect that the Handy may be the superior way to go. If you want to take a few more steps to get things going, if you want more optional accessories, if you like the idea of being able to using a wider variety of sleeves, then the Keon (or Keon 2) might be a better option.

Regardless of which route you choose, I suspect you’ll be happy with the choice you make. Beware of second-guessing yourself and letting wondering about that the other choice would have been like get in the way of your future fun.
