Have there been any solutions for getting the game to work on firmware 3 yet? I’ve got a boss I’m still trying to beat.
Strange, but few days ago I was able to connect without problems. Have you tried recently ?
Ok I just tried again and it looks like it works just fine. I don’t know what I was doing wrong but it was probably something dumb. 
It is possible “The Handy” team fixed or did some workaround on their side. Since I got same problems before, and now it works.
Am I going something wrong?
I have Android 12. I’ve tried putting the files into both the Android/data directory and the Documents directory. Both times I get the same error on startup: “This app requires access to the file system. Allow storage permission in the Settings section of your phone. Make sure all files are located in the Documents folder.”
As far as I can tell, the permissions aren’t listed in the phones settings (or rather, there aren’t any specific permissions required by the phone that I can set). Is this an issue with how I’ve set it up or is this something that needs to be addressed with the software app?
Have you tried looking at the following?
- On your Android device, open the Settings app .
- Tap Apps & notifications.
- Tap Advanced. App permissions.
- Select a permission, like Calendar, Location, or Phone. (storage in your case)
- Choose which apps should have access to that permission.
Wish I could be of more help, but I haven’t personally put this on an Android.

And developer mode is still enabled from when you installed the apk files?
Click on Level Select from the Main Menu. You can find any video you have completed in there. The entire episode will unlock once you beat the game.
Hey again, I’ve upgrade from a Launch but to an OSR2+. Is there anyway I could connect it in place of connecting the Handy that I’ve been unable to find? 
Edit: To clarify, I can connect either directly, via JoyMultiPlayer or Initface/Buttplug.,io

Hey, I would love to implement it but unfortunately I do not have an OSR2+. I’m not sure how it even works. That may be a project for the future if I ever get my hands on it.

Hey all! Sorry for not being around, been super busy lately. Thanks to all who have been helping others while I have been gone. Really appreciate it! I’ve been working on a bit of a re-write of the game which include quality of life updates that hopefully make new episodes much easier to add than before. I’ll keep you posted but I hope to release the new version of this soon. The release will include a brand new episode as well!

If you let the punishment play through completely, it is unlocked and accessible via the level select from the main menu. Also like BitterSwee said, if you complete the game you will get all the videos and punishments unlocked.
wow, i came across this post by accident. Of course I tried it right away and I’m thrilled. Great job, kudos. The implementation is really great. An expansion for the other episodes and a hardcore mode would be a dream.

I’ve got developer mode enabled, but that wasn’t in any of the instructions. Regardless, still getting an error.
I’ve had the files for the DLC under both the Android/data directory as well as the Documents directory. Neither works.
Again, no permissions requested, no permissions denied.
