Probably a similar level of artistry today as then, but the ones that were shot well really stood out because of the limits of the tech of the day. Also a lot of older stuff would be closer to 4:3 AR which could sway personal preference
Edit- also equipment being more readily available and it being easier to share content of all quality ranges may ādilute the talent poolā so to speak, as well
I feel like the access to equipment diluting the pool I a valid point!

@NumeroUno as @burtreynolds already said, the script has to be made during the event and we canāt count any script, that has been made before the event. Otherwise everybody can submit a script they did 100 years ago, which is not the meaning of these events.
