Hello I just downloaded an eroscript, which led me to downloading my first script, then finding that I need an app called MutliFunPlayer to use the script with a video link I found on the same page.
I know dont know if I can just use that video link, or need to download the video, if so, how do I pair these two in MFP to play it and make sure its in sync. First time with all this and I am finding it really overwhelming moving between SLR and Ero and I just want this to be an easy way to access good video/script experience with my new Handy.
To use a script you need a compatible video player — that doesn’t have to be MutliFunPlayer, but depends on the display device you are using. For example, I use a Meta Quest 3 (3D viewer) with a Handy 2 Pro, and both HereSphere and DEOVR work very well. All I need to do is ensure that the funscript (or CMScript for WankzVR downloads) is in the same folder as the video, and has the exact same name right up to the extension. For example, if the video filename is “My actress - My scene [SexLikeReal].mp4” then the script would be “My actress - My scene [SexLikeReal].funscript”
What are you using?
Actually if you have the handy then you shouldn’t need MFP. On a phone, go to the app store and download ‘handy onboarding’ or look up “ohdoki handy app” in a browser to find the company’s links. Turn on your handy, open the onboarding app and select your device (turn on your handy atp).
After you get through the setup process, you have two choices: wifi or Bluetooth. Use Wi-Fi if you can (setup should prompt you to connect the handy to a network) and Bluetooth otherwise. -if you can’t get the app lmk, because I’m pretty sure there’s a way to avoid using it entirely, but it’s been a bit since I’ve used the normal video players
For wifi: on the handy app home page there should be a connection key listed, copy that down. Next, on ANY DEVICE go to https://handyverse.com there’s a connection menu in the top right of the page where you can put in the connection key. (The device you use will also have to be connected to the same wifi network you added the handy to) After that (or before, doesn’t matter when you get the video files lol) download the video and fun script file onto the same device - this should be a .mp4 and .funscript file respectively. Go back to handy feeling, click on the three bars in the top left, then ‘video player’. Then you’ll have a screen with two file options, one for a video, one for a fun script file, upload the files you want to play, and then a video player should pop up. After that your all set! Using the video player should also start the script, and if it feels out of sync you can open the same menu you used to connect (top right) you can use that to edit the stroke length, as well as the delay.
Bluetooth: phone specific. Stay on the onboarding app after connecting. Click the three bars in the top right, then “settings”, then “experimental”, then “video player”, upload the files and hit play (downloading/uploading the video and script are the same in both methods, the difference is really just how you access each platform)
—IMPORTANT— I don’t remember which platform has this issue, but there’s a fun script file format that doesn’t work on one of the two players. If your sure you downloaded the right script file and the player won’t let you upload it, use the other connection method and it will work
This is extremely helpful and about what I was looking for. I was experimenting with the IVE extension last night using Eroscipt Free Scripts but found that when I would “load and play” it would take me to the site where the video is supposed to play but the link would be broken or would take me to the generic homepage of the site. It was hit and miss to be honest. And when you are there, ready to go, its like the most annoying thing to have to figure this out.
Going to give this link a try with the For Wifi directions and report back.
I feel stupid for getting the annual SLR subscription. Some of the content is great but other stuff is meh – I was hoping for more R34 type stuff
Yeah I’d really not recommend slr unless you have a VR headset minimum, and preferably a desk mount too
The best thing about the handy is that most of its basic functionality is confined to easy to use apps/sites, so once you get the hang of it it’ll be a blast to use.
If you have any problems tryna set things up feel free to dm me or reply here and I’d be happy to help out.
Agreed on the content tbh, like I said slr is only really worth it with the headset (and even then the enjoyable content is limited, although I’m a bit picky) all of the good stuff is here, and there’s plenty of r34 videos scripted. If you get the wifi mode set up def also check out faptap, basically a plug and play site for scripted videos. Albeit with less content than here, and a the scripters aren’t as good (most of the best scripts there are from scripters that post here, so the only real advantage is that you don’t have to download the files)
Edit: another rec for searching here, use the tag search to filter out paid scripts. It sucks to find smth while browsing and then realize you have to pay for it. Some are worth supporting the scripter, but if your just starting out and don’t want to commit money to just use one script, save yourself the annoyance and use the Scripts > Free Scripts tag. On any device you can go into the eroscipts search bar and put a # and start typing out a tag name and it’ll let you autofill. This is also helpful for finding specific content types sometimes, but be forewarned that not all videos use the optional tags properly for their videos, so some things slip through the cracks
