Device experience and recomendations

Hello I’m new here, I started with a quick shot Fleshlight. Quickly found out that I’m kinda too big to use it in the case so I have been using it without. Then I bought a cheap einseo auto stroker and also kinda too big for it and I don’t like the twisting function because it twists too much and being really tight hurts and also you can’t turn the twist function off. So now not trusting online reviews and ratings. Does someone have experience with the xt9 from x space? I like the form factor and it looks like it has good features. Help?

I would avoid anything x-space, at least for me their products get boring too fast, I would look for a toy with nice and easy to set up compatibility for scripts instead (since we are in a scripting forum), here’s the list I look at when searching for devices https://iostindex.com/ I like being able to see their specs displayed like that, I am not affiliated with the team that makes the list btw, but they make it so easy to see the features of each device

The most popular in use here would be the Handy, which now has two versions. I only have the original. Out of the box, it uses a strap to hold a very mediocre sleeve, but it can be adapted to hold pretty much any sleeve.

The most capable are the hobby projects OSR2, SR6, and SSR1/2. The first two use servos to provide motion, which can get pretty loud, though it depends a lot on what servos you use to build it. The latter use a different kind of motor which is a lot quieter. You can either build these yourself, using a 3D printer to create the structural parts and sourcing the other parts (such as control board and servos) as you see fit, or you can buy one pre-assembled. I personally recommend getting a 3D printer regardless, so you’ll be able to print out replacement parts should the need arise. If you go this route, I’d recommend the OSR2.1+, with or without a twist module, as you see fit (with a proper sleeve, you don’t need to worry about it being too tight and painful).

You should read up on those options to get a better idea which fits what you’re looking for.

Just in terms of sleeves, if you’re too big for the quickshot then you possibly want full fleshlights if you want hardcase, otherwise onaholes and sleeves from the Handy makers would be fine since there’s no case to worry about.

The main benefit of the hardcase is there’s a backbone/structure that’ll hold the sleeve still. You can probably check the specs for a sleeve on fleshlight or fleshassist.

As for strokers, TheHandy is the bread and butter of the community. Its more or less the first device that most people recommend and out of the box its mostly suited for the softer sleeves since it can’t handle a full size hardcase fleshlight.
TheHandy2 is currently out but its hard to get one if you werent an early bird.

For hardcase stuff, Keon is usable but isn’t preferred by the community since its not as accurate/fast as TheHandy.
If you don’t mind spending more money there’s the OSR2 and SR6 devices that have more than just the downward stroke and add more axises of motion. These mainly focus on the fleshlight line of sleeves but there are adapters you can print or buy from builders for other formats.

Those devices are more or less the most common or most talked about on this forum in particular. There are more strokers that are compatible with funscripts, but no one really talks about them or recommends them.
