Dimava already created a plugin but I haven’t tested it.
I gave it a quick test just now and it seems to work as intended.
we’ll play around with this for a bit before I implement it.

Disabling post revisions entirely would probably increase the number of locked/deleted by author threads.
I personally don’t have any issues with the way things are now as I exclusively sort by new, and I generally don’t come back to them after I’ve seen them. I watch/bookmark threads I actually care about coming back to. Only issue I have is me forgetting to unwatch things 
On the topic, does this setting work for anyone?
@Lethalizen I have it set to “when I haven’t viewed them” but it still seems to do to a few days instead.
I feel like I may be a culprit for this as I recently switched from Patreon to Onlyfans. After 3 days of having to go back through all of my posts and put new links in it does tend to bump the post which I really hate that it does. I try to do edits all at once to get it over with as to not effect newer posts being seen and I try to do it at times I feel like people would be at work. Sorry if I am the problem. I wish there was a better way.
Unrelated but I do want to solve this problem:
I just don’t have very minimal developer skills and have no idea how to make an adult only patreon.
