I’ve looked at the official Handy desk mount but it’s $60 with a 2.2 stars review
Can someone suggest any alternative or DIY solutions that preferably doesn’t require a 3d printer

The easiest solution for a standing up set up requires a 3d printer. This won’t work with any of the Handy products.

There’s no allowance or cutaway for the sliding portion of these devices.

I second the Hands3 for Handy 1. It’s what I use and it’s great. I use it laying down, but can be used standing too ofc.

The same person who designed the Hands3 for Handy 1 has also done a couple of designs for Handy 2.
