This seems really nice for quick filesystem modifications, especially for additional files like funscripts. I use deeply nested folders to organize so searching manually can be daunting iwl.
If anyone uses stash there’s also a built in dupe checker that runs against the videos phash.
It’s really handy as you can essentially scan the entire library, and stash will auto mark the video as having multiple versions in your filesystem. You can also view the media info like codec, bitrate, filesize, etc. to compare which one you want to keep.
You can see below after I copy pasted a video in my library and scanned, stash marked the File Info tab with a (2) to denote 2 videos for the same scene. There’s also a quick delete/re-assign button.

This is really only good with videos though, if you have duplicate funscripts or other filetypes it isn’t really that helpful.
Cmon man…it literally says it on the website on what Everything program does. You are way better at programming than i am but the program is called everything for a reason not just videos any file type…
I can see how it can look confusing due to my spacing, my bad.
This was in reference to Stash, not the voidtools program. I specifically said in the first sentence that the program you recommended would actually be useful because it handles other filetypes.
