Did anyone figure out how to play the battles in this game? Is it totally random to choose up/down guard, or is there any hints or indications for you to react to?

Firmware 4 no longer loads the entire script into the device — instead, the API itself negotiates the buffer with the Handy and manages it on demand. This makes upload time practically nonexistent. The early versions of Firmware 4 caused significant lag during buffer negotiation, but it seems this issue was resolved in version 4.1.
Hey, I just read your comments about pause and resume. In the latest EDI there are a feature that completely solve the pause/resume and synchronization problem with minimal effort for the integrator.
If you send a Pause(hard = true) command with the parameter hard = true, the action will not resume when you send Play. It “ignores” the Play calls, but still keeps track of them internally. When you then send Resume(atCurrentTime = true), it resumes the action in sync based on the last Play command that was sent.
This way, you can send Pause at any moment without changing anything else in the integration. When you want to resume the action, just send Resume and everything should stay synchronized with the current game action.
