To my knowledge, Lovense devices work on Android and PC (Linux, Windows, Mac OS X). I don’t have feedback about any iOS devices.
Windows 10 on a Dell Laptop. It has bluetooth, but some non-Lovense apps work with the internal Bluetooth device, and some insist on having the Lovense Bluetooth USB stick in place.
Breeders of the Nephelym uses the Lovense Bluetooth adapter and Lovense Remote, for example. (OR you can get your toy connected to the program with a far more kludgey toy->phone-> WLAN sharing scheme.)
I wasn’t sure where FapTap was looking for the toy, or if it gave up after trying the first Bluetooth adapter it found.
I’ve tried:
Just the toy.
Toy and Lovense BT adapter.
Toy, Lovense adapter and Lovense Remote.
Chrome with and without incognito mode.
I don’t know when Chrome/FapTap do the enumeration for where it might look for the toy, so I hadn’t tried restarting Chrome in between making changes.

Will you be forwarding that “out of sync” issue to scripters? Since they cannot manage their own content on the site I could see a video kind of getting blackholed if removed for that. I also feel it is justified if a script is released and such feedback is ignored. Given there is no user-driven ranking system.
I think directing a user to a script thread makes sense but also that there has to be a catch if a creator is ignoring complaints. I also know there has to be a manual script update on your end.
Just curious about your thoughts on the process there.

The current implementation is very primitive: A user reports a video and it gets flagged. The video will then be reviewed and deleted/updated, if there seems to be a problem with it.
I can certainly forward it to the original ES thread, if there seem to be timing issues.
The problem with directing users to EroScript threads is that if you don’t have an account or aren’t logged in, a generic “Not Found/Private” message will appear. Most users won’t understand that you need to register and will leave the website.
Could you provide more information about “Given there is no user-driven ranking system.”, how would you imagine it?
Lettings scripters manage their own content requires a lot of development on my side, but I might look into it, as soon as all main features are completed. In the long term it certainly makes sense. The question is about incentives. What does the scripter gain from managing his content on there? What could FapTap provide the scripter, etc. Financially, the site cannot offer anything, since it doesn’t generate any revenue.

My only ranking thought was that if a script wasn’t functioning properly people would downvote that which could send it down in display ranking. Really such a system can be as simple or complicated as wanted.
For scripters I was thinking more on just having control over their own content. Matters a lot for some. Another aspect would be browsing scripts by that creator, though that could be done without accounts. Certainly know how much more depth that would bring on dev and backend side.
hey is there any way to use a tempest device that runs on wifi with ur site? cuz I’m kinda just only using xtp because I think that’s the only one that can connect to my handy.
Does there exist documentation or a guide on how to implement it? I made a quick search, but didn’t find anything in particular, just the Patreon page of “xtp”.
N00b question: does playing a video in this site with the handy connected automatically load the script to the handy and synch it to the video.

@Faptap As a scripter I would like to manage my content on your site to ensure the videos/scripts I want to view are there. It is by far the easiest way to play them. I don’t need compensation; after all, I don’t receive anything for creating a topic here.

He is. Thats why i Stopped talking to him. I someone does not WANT to understand you, it´s wasted time talking to him.
You can provide discoverability for example. If the scripter is doing free and paid scripts simultanously it can put some traffic on his paid scripts when people start to recognize him.
Sites like this move a lot of people out of eroscripts, so scripters are losing likes & feedback. If you feel like people don’t appreciate your work you just stop scripting, that’s the sad part here.
It’s weird that the site is focused on scripts but you don’t even put scripter’s name in the description. There is no problem in putting a performer / site name tho, even if it’s widely recognized by larger audience. The link to the script won’t even be used 99% of the time. Why would someone go to the original post if you can access it anytime from faptap itself?

And yes: I am exaggerating. This community is amazingly nice and cool, but I’ve been bothered by the lack of feedback from most of them ever since I discovered it. Yes, I understand that we are talking about porn here. A taboo subject, but we’re “among ourselves” here, so why be afraid. So many here just consume.

Do you like sites like faptap or bukakke.moe in general or don’t? If yes, would you rather prefer to be able upload your scripts yourself, instead of somebody else?
I think sites like faptap or bukakke.moe are the future. It’s so easy to use and doesn’t require much set up. I understand that some scripters don’t like it. At first I was a bit skeptical as well, but overall I am fine with it. For the future I hope we get a feature or a site, where we can upload our scripts our self and then embed the video. Imagine like PornHub, but just with scripts. Users can became a member for creators and get some exclusive scripts and support the creator by that. Maybe a little of income with ad revenue as well. If I could code / web design I would do something like this.
I’ve been bothered by this as well. I don’t know if it’s something that we can improve in a way. I am trying to not care too much about views / comments, but I always fall back to care. You probably know, when you are scripting a video and are really excited to release it, because you think the video is great and will make an awesome script and the people here will surely like it. And then your thread gets buried deeper and deeper, has 0 comments and 1k - 1.2k views. And then you think, “why the fuck did I put so much time into this and in the end nobody seems to care? I am done with this and will never release anything anymore.” I’ve been there as well, several times actually. But I am still scripting. Taking more breaks now and try to not focus so much on the negatives. I am trying to think more like: “I am scripting this video, because I like it and would like to use the script myself. When I release it, I am sharing it with the others.”
I understand that sites like faptap or bukkake may deepen this problem in some case. But I think it’s very small and the general problem is, that people don’t interact and just want to consume, like you said. That problem was before faptap or bukkake.moe was created. My hope is, that when the interactive toy market grows, the site grows, more people come, more people are up for interaction and this problem will slowly go away. Scripts are still new and got only more popular, because of the Handy (at least I think).
We can only wait and see what the future brings and until then contribute some scripts and bring the interactive scene forward by that.

I totally understand the appeal and usefulness of such websites! It makes consuming scripts significantly easy and eliminates some “preparation”. I’ve been using the site regularly for as long as I’ve known about Bukkake.moe (right around the time of the Great Purge). Bukkake.moe had a rough start, but BasicGirl (the operator) didn’t respond to the criticism with “I’ll do it sometime in the next update” but with “Oh! I did something wrong. Sorry. Presses the Big Red Resetbutton”
I also agree that faptap is a bit cleaner than bukkake.moe. But I really don’t understand the argument that bukkake.moes Interface would be confusing. The advertisements are tiny, the interface is logically structured and self-explanatory. Bukkake.Moe gives scripters the ability to upload their own “works”. This gives you control and due to the variably designable description (which, by the way, is not behind any link, but is ALWAYS displayed) it is every scripter’s own fault if he doesn’t get the credit he wants. Due to the well-enforced reporting function (I really have to praise Basicgirl, reports of all kinds are processed extremely quickly) the “theft” of scripts is effectively put a stop to.
Yes. But do we need to give away the little bit of control we have? Do we want others to think for us? Do we want others to say “this video is good enough for my website, i will upload it and take the Script somone created for it too. Fuck it if he likes it or not. I will take it.” And no: I dont have a problem like “he is not taking my scripts”. He is taking “my” scripts. My problem is not that he is taking “my” scripts, its THAT he is doing IT in general and totaly playing dumb to any kind of criticism, saing “its an alpha, i will fix it later”. No! Fix it before you release it! Dont play
Also, unfortunately I have to agree with you that these websites are the future. Society is becoming increasingly dumb and lazy. Thanks to TikTok and Co, the average attention span is 25 seconds. Accordingly, many no longer want to do the “work” of looking for an appealing video and enjoying it. “Give me a video, I’ll cum and then on to the next one. Don’t think about it! Next! Quick! Jerk me off!” Yes, this is the future. But do we want that? Do we really have to support this?

Overall I am a bit torn between: Use the scripts if you want. There not special, creative content, hard to make or require much skill. They just take some time to take, nothing more. Give me some credit if you want, if not then it’s okay as well.
And: I don’t want anybody to use my scripts without asking for allowance. I put time and effort into them and always try to make them as perfect as possible. If you want to use them, you should give credit to me.
My attitude mostly changed to the first one, even though it was the second one for a long time. But I stopped caring so much about my scripts. If people like, cool. If not, cool as well, because I like them and want to use them. Stopping others using them without my permission is something I am not able to do and don’t want to. I can put this time and energy somewhere else.
I can absolutely agree on that. But the question is, what should we do about it?
So far I see these option: Stop making any scripts, which will not bring the interactive scene and devices forward.
Or: Still making scripts, bringing the scene and devices forward and hoping things will get better. Trying to focus on the positive things and being happy about the little interaction and feedback we get.
