Funscript Player for Mac

I just discovered this site https://funscript-player.vercel.app/ which allows you to connect the keon via bluetooth. You can upload either a script or a script and a video for your device to sync to. Super useful for those of you who are using Mac OS! Not sure if the handy is supported but I feel like it probably is

Thank you.

I one-upped myself after years lol, that link you sent i made that web-app back in 2021 for my iPad. Years later, here’s a native app for Mac.

feel free to give feedback and roast :slight_smile:

yeah, here’s the original post back in 2021;

I made that web-app years ago because I had a Kiiroo Keon and my iPad and wanted to use it on my iPad via Bluetooth.

if you’re down to a read a little backstory read here for the full lore;

This is awesome! Is it possible to add audio files too (mp3/mp4/m4a)?

hey! not right now unfortunately.

in a future update it should be possible to play from different media players, including an audio only one :slight_smile:

for now, it’s the built-in Apple video player only

Thanks for the speedy reply! :slight_smile: You said “built-in Apple video player”, isn’t that QuickTime? Or does MacOS have some other engine that you used? I’m certainly no expert - just a regular mac user :wink:

hey! so it’s called AVPlayer, it’s the native video player that developers can work with.

AVPlayer should also support audio just fine, I just haven’t set it up for that yet.

And yeah as before, eventually I want to add support for external players like VLC or MPC and playing a funscript without a video.

Oh, I see! I haven’t done enough programming on MacOS so I didn’t even know about AVPlayer! I see that it does support audio. Would love to see that supported in the FunPlayer app! I know it sounds so simple (to me) to just add audio file types on open, and not just video file types, but I’m sure it’s more involved. Anyway, thanks so much for responding!
