idk if this is even possible with the handy but I wanna try making a funscript for porn comics I like. First one I’m gonna do is definitely Incase - Alfie. Preferably with python cause I don’t like making scripts by hand. Super tedious.

Maybe just making every image 10 seconds and a loop script for every page if it really isn’t possible. I can make a video like that easy peasy but..idk maybe that’s the only way. I’d rather just go to the next image with my keyboard.
So my thought would be creating a video slideshow of the comic pages as you suggest. Then add music because you can easily make funscripts for the music track with PythonDancer.
There are easy slideshow creation programs out there. I’ve not used any to make a recommendation though.

It would be very feasible to make an image viewing app that associates a script file, or something like range + speed, with each image. Similar stuff has been done for gifs and short video clips.
Possibly, I’ll need to see if people made games based on keyboard inputs or something for the handy. maybe the have an api for the handy? not sure i only every used the official handyverse website for scripts and videos
I’m surprised I didn’t think about this earlier but this idea works really well for visual novels.
When a visual novel has a sex scene the script can run according to the dialog/background that’s currently visible and loop until you switch to the next script from just going through the dialog.

I’m thinking for comics, you could assign funscripts to individual panels. Use a button to proceed to the next panel to play the script and optionally slightly darken the rest of the page.

Ok, so an api exists and this might be possible to make a little app where you can upload a cbz fille and funscript and the script changes as you go from page to page.
The API seems to be in beta but some features are stable thank god.
A cbz file is just a zip file of images that is then renamed .cbz btw, much simpler to make then an mp4

I’ll probably use gallery-dl to scrape it off ehentai, since incase finished coloring the last pages. I’ll look into that rewrite of tachiyomi.
