FUNSR6 with MiraBot parts?

So, I have a FUNSR6 specifically, and chose it after reading a review about how quiet the servos are. It is still missing the heating and iLube attachments that full kits seem to have. I know that SR devices are upgradable and I could in theory make them all by myself, but I am just not well versed enough to do so.

I was thinking about buying a heating case from MiraBot. It seems to be an okay choice, since it looks like it just plugs into an outlet. I am also interested in the MiraLube attachment, but the only question I seem to have is that my FUNSR6 doesn’t have enough connectors to attach the MiraLube addon to. What would I need to do to my SR6 to make this upgrade possible?

@g90ak Wouldn’t this be as simple as connecting the added auxilliary components to an unused pin on the PCB then mapping over what channel you want it applied to in the firmware? A0/A1/V0/V1? I’ve never done anything like this but i’d assume that’s how it works

Yeah, that’s pretty much spot on how to control any sort of “extension” to the SR lineup. IN THEORY.

I would heavily recommend engaging with whomever built your unit for confirmation. Mains power anywhere near your dick is nothing to fuck around with. NO one will know your particular SR as well as the builder. Please don’t risk ripping or toasting your dick off.
