I have been told by the one of the mods I think, Any link to Mega / Google drive links must have #Direct-dl included with them. This was just the other day, December 1 2020. It was under “More Topic tags- Site Feedback” They just started doing this.
Thanks
It is a nice idea but we are not forcing anyone to tag their posts with anything. If they choose to tag the post we appreciate it. We decided we would rather content get shared with out a tag then to enforce tagging and then have content creators not share because they do not want to be bothered by tagging.
Thanks.
@moderators correct me if I am wrong.
Thank you for the clarification for me. I checked lots of other posts and didn’t see any others so I looked into it. I seen they were calling for the idea but it seemed like my posts we’re the target first.
@M0SAIC is correct - there is no mandatory tags whatsoever.
I think @mrdoesnothingalot was mainly looking to see if thats something the site should maybe have for consistency, but I personally have no preference for tags, as they can get cumbersome and I find they are can be actually make things easy to miss since its simply too easy to forget to tag something whereas search will often show up better results in my experience knowing key words to search for
